MY SON WAS BORN MARCH 25 AND IVE BEEN GIVING HIM JUICE FROM GERBER FOR AWHILE NOW HE ECSPECIALLY LOVES THE PAIR JUICE, ITS GOOD FOR THEM TO BEABLE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DRINK OTHER THAN FORMULA ONCEIN AWHILE MY SON GETS A SIPPY CUP OF JUICE ONCE A DAY!

my pediatrician had me giving my son apple and pear juice (dilluted down) since 2 months. I still give it to him, i just don't dillute it as much, and he loves it! Plus it has really helped in introducing him to a sippy cup.

Personally i give my son juice watered down of course did the same with my oldest as well only about once a week and i make sure to brush his teeth and gums right after and niether of my children have had teeth problems i find it helps there taste buds, and helps regulate them when they start trying to eat baby food for those stubborn tummies which both of my boys! had just what you feel is best if you do decide to give juice just give in moderation so they will still want milk and water but do get to taste other stuff it worked real well with mine they drink everything hope it helps! Oh if you want a perfesonal opnion you might try talking to a dentist!

if ur going to brush ur bubs teeth or gums i say its fine if its watered down i personly am not going to use anything but water as we havbe a 2 year old whom went through a stage with dd1 where she would spit out water and only drink watered down juice or cordial. just make sure u dont let ur baby sleep withn a juice bottle on their mouth as i know a little girl who's mum did let this happen (and not brushing) and he teeth pushed through all rotten YUCK!!!

The actual fruit is always better. Juice, even in its most natural of states, is full of SUGAR.

My daughter is never going to get juice. My son didn't have it till he was at least 1 and honestly I've had more trips to the dentist with him to have cavities filled and he's only 4. We've always brushed his teeth since he's had them but he now has to brush them at least 3 times a day and has to rinse with a mouthwash just as often. Unfortunately now that's all he'll drink for the most part, I will not be making the same mistake with my daughter. It's empty calories and serve no purpose except to be an empty filler! When she gets old enough she will be offered milk or water and nothing else!

Ask your childs pediatrician. Most advise against juice because the actual fruit is much better. I've been told juice is pointless calories and can lead to tooth and gums problems and can lead to the issue of your child only wanting juice instead of milk or water because it's sweeter. I personally am waiting til my son is atleast 2 before he gets anything other than milk or water. Do some research on the topic, and definately ask the pediatrician.

ive given my son watered down juice and he loves it! i dont see anything wrong with giving your baby a taste?
