9 days till im due...

well theres just 9 days left now till our girl is due, right up untill saturday night she had not stopped kicking punching and wiggling but all day sunday and today she has been still most of the time i just get the odd wiggle but not very often so it looks like she is resting ready. i have a constant pain in my lower back now and keep getting shooting pains down below, does this sound like maybe shes going to make an appearence? how is everyone else at this stage getting on? xxx

well i spoke to midwife yesterday and told them everything that was happening i just got told that was normal for this stage and basically to get on with it they dint need to see me and the next time they'd see me was when id given birth... i got off the phone and sobbed cos it just feels like there is no support at all from them, probably just my hormones though, i just thought they'd want to check me or something, as far as i know im not dilated or anything yet. 6 days to go now, i cant wait =D

i woudl call the doc just to be safe. I'm 39 weeks 3 days, little man is always active. I get back pain and pain below as well. I asked my doc about it, he said its just the baby and my body getting ready. are you dialated yet?

The decreased movement warrents a call to the Dr. My little guy was very active until the moment he arrived, the hospital & Dr said to call if there was less movement. It's better to be on the safe side. You are so close to the finish line, the pains can be labor pains. Good Luck! My little guy arrived on March 12th @ 37.5 weeks.
