My daughter is 19 weeks old and I would like to incorporate more interesting toys into her daily routine. She currently has an exersaucer, plenty of rattles and soft, small stuffed animals. What other toys/items would be good to introduce her to now and in a few months when she is older. I know the market has many items to choose from and sometimes too many is overwhelming.

Thank you all for the response. I noticed that Fiona likes to 'sit up' and play now, so I am trying to find different thngs for her to grab and play with while helping her to keep her balance. Thanks again.

My daughter loves her Rainforest playmat, she can now reach the toys hanging above her, and play by herself for ages.

My son's favorites are a worm that's about 24 inches long, has ribbon-like legs and each section is different (one is crinkly, one rattles, etc) I also got out a bunch of those rings that hook together. He must have swung them around for 30 minutes tonight, put them in his mouth and tried to pull them apart. I would also try some of those touch and feel books. Babies always like to touch things that feel different.

My son isn't really interested in too many toys. He likes the ones from the mobiles, or hanging from his play mat, and a rattle, but other than that he's more interested in his blankets and pacifier lol

My daughter is almost 5 months and we have one of those playmats with the toys attached. She loves it and will roll around on the floor for a long time playing with those toys.
