Ah! The study on those was done in 2008, so the results weren't out when I was feeding my son. It does say, however, that commercial foods containing strawberries are okay, because the strawberries have been cooked. It's debatable whether home cooked strawberries would reach high enough temperatures to pasteurize. I'll have to do more research on that. Thanks!

Do your kids like meat? I tried Making a little oatmeal today and adding it to the blender with fresh peaches and bananas.. The oatmeal was to help fill her up because she is taking in 8 oz a feeding plus she wants to nurse.. She loved it .. @ Jaiy Nance Skip the strawberries no strawberries before year one.. or peanut butter before year three.. it can be deadly for you little one

I make all my baby food as well. My 6mth old daughter loves any combo I give her. Like chicken & sweet potato, peas & pears, apples & carrots...or sometimes I mix 3 different things like apple, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash. :) I love making her food!!!

I like mixing things with berries. Banana, apple or pears with strawberry or blueberry. I've heard raspberries are good, too, but I don't make things I won't taste. Banana and peach.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

And no honey. I read that honey shouldn't be given to babies under 1 year either. I also make my babies food from scratch. He loves his veggies and chicken soup, fruits.

Yea she's right about the strawberries...you can feed them to ur baby apparently its an old wives tale, not too sure if the cooking temperature matters at all I have given her a small taste her and there and nothing has ever happened...but definitely no nuts until over a yr.
