I have just started my little boy, 22 weeks old on Farex. I was just wondering what sort of first foods other Mums have given their bubs.............

i started my daughter on farex mixed with her regular formula and slowley over time started adding a tiny bit of baby food to the farex untill she is now having pure baby food, i then gave her like pureed pears, pereed apples etc in the tins that are recomended from 4 months onwards and i now make her my own purees with all different fruit anjd vegetable varietys she just loves them, as shes now started solids i offer her cold boiled water once or twice a day aswell

our pediatrician also recommended orange veggies first. we started with butternut squash, then sweet potatoes, carrots. then moved on to green veggies and then fruits.

we started with rice cereal and breastmilk this month on my 4 month old.... however the rice cereal made him constipated, so we tried oatmeal... this doesn't constipate him and he loves the taste!

just started him on carrots (doc said to try orange veggies first)... carrots seem to make his tummy unhappy so we'll be trying sweet potatoes next

rice cereal and oatmeal with breast milk, thick, goopy, and cold (I have no idea, but she loves it that way). Carrots are her favorite, followed by peas and corn. She isn't fond of green beans. This weekend we try the sweet potato...
