Infacol can be useful in the early stages of wind build up. Although i've found nothing works better than massage :)

My little girl has it bad. After feeding her I try and try to burp her for about 15 minutes and i still dont get her to burp. Her tummy is rock hard and she farts alot.

Hey everyone! I'm formula feeding and tried the Mylicon Drops! They work great! I use them only every 3rd bottle because I'm not sure if she can develop a dependancy but it has helped wonders!

Both my children struggled with gas and discomfort. One whom im still seeking gas relief for, he is 5 weeks. You could try to put the gripe water in a bottle with milk. If gripe water, which is what I have just started using, doesn't work then try Mylcon drops. Mylcon drops worked great for my daughter but not for my son :( If you see that doesn't work then talk to the pediatrician. Not sure if you breastfeeding or forumula feeding. If you are breastfeeding, than gas is common and you should try to alter your diet a little by reducing the amount of diary, spicy, fatty, and fried foods. If you are formula feeding than maybe you should look into a different formula. I know Similac has a formula out for gas, fussy and spit up babies. You can also bend your babies legs towards her chest to try n help relieve pressure. You can always talk to the doctor and see what suggestions they may have.

Ive been using rhe Brauer Colic Relief drops, theyre working really well. He still has gassy times where he crunches his body up and tenses up and farts, but the drops have helped alot!! I dont know if you can get them where you are but I recommend trying it.

Have you tried Mylicon drops? We use it with our son at almost every feeding because he is the same way. The taste is good also, so he doesn't mind when we give it to him. If you are nursing, it may be something in your diet. I recently went off of dairy because my son was projectile spitting up at every feeding and very fussy. It decreased when I was off of dairy, when I tried it again, he went back to spitting up a lot.

Has anyone else tried Infant's Friend? It appears to be pretty popular in AU but it's not very easy to find in the States. I want to read more reviews on it before I have it shipped internationally.

ive just had a few days of Imarli just crying and farting... her poor little tummy just churning. ive cut out all gas producing foods for one week (still in that week) and then next week ill introduce then one by one again and see which are the ones causeing her grief. she is seven weeks old and my midwife suggested i by some brauer drops which are a homeopathic medicine for colic. by the first night she was great and slept 6 hours second day she was a little bit gassy again but only during the day but then again slept for 6 hours at night! first time she's had good sleeps too =) she's breastfed and though she's only felt funky for a couple of days i think it was because of the amount of herbal teas i was drinking.. apparently chamomile is great to settle them but too much will make them a little constipated... interesting stuff

this is the link to the page i found out and im going to trial it. im not sure how old your girl is or if she's bottle or breastfed but hope I helped!

My little boy was like that. It was getting worse and worse and all I wanted to do was make him feel better. We ended up putting him on soy formula and after a week he was all better. Now all we have to do is get him to sleep in his own bed! :(
