happy babies...is this possible?

My daughter never cried until she was about 9 months old. I'm sure she cried in pain but all in all, almost never. She was actually very serious and now she's the happiest, most advanced 2 year old I know! Her brother came along about 2 months ago and he's already smiling about 85 percent of the day! They are both good sleepers too! It's rare but it happens!

I had a tough pregnancy though (Major morning sickness for 5 months, then hospitalized bed rest for 2 months due to placenta previa) so I say his chipper personality 3000% makes up for it!

My baby is super happy all the time too! Always big smiles and hardly ever tears unless he's really hungry, but that isn't often, because I usually get him his milk when I know he's about to get hungry. He'll fuss a little, but mostly just if he either over or under stimulated. He cried with his first set of shots, but didn't make a sound on his second set (although he made a very sad face). i would maybe ask about the pain, because that is unusual. Happy to hear there are so many happy babies out there! :)

My girl does not cry much, I feel very lucky. One day, the same thing, her dad clipped her nail but accidentally got her skin, she cried; when she got her vaccination, she cried like hell, I guess this is normal. I would worry too if she didn't.

The nail clipping thing would actually worry me a little. Does she cry when she is in pain normally? It is really rare but there is a disorder where people feel NO pain. It can lead to serious problems if not diagnosed. It's one in a million but you never know! I'm glad you have such a happy baby though!

Griffin is also SUPER happy--all the time! He's been on multiple LONG car rides (12+ hours) and barely made a sound. He's just awake, alert and interested in everything.

My friends are all having such troubles with their babies and I feel awful. I had an amazingly easy pregnancy, simple delivery (albeit a scheduled c-section due to my own medical condiditons), and now a PERFECT baby. I feel so blessed and lucky.

Ethan is my first baby. I lost my first pregnancy & prayed to God to be a mother (I didnt want kids, had too many nieces & nephews to want my own) it really opened my eyes for sure.

Ethan gets his days where he is a COMPLETE crabass. Otherwise, mostly, he is the best baby ever! :) He cries when he's constipated, has a dirty diaper, hungry... or my favorite ITS THE END OF MY WORLD, I JUST LOST MY NOOK! But most of the time hes coo'ing, giggling, and always smiling (mostly at his father)

My daughter is almost always happy! Even when she was sick in the hospital she was smiling and laughing, with the exception of when they were putting her IV in. She occassionally fusses, but very rarely cries. Happy babies do exist! Ours has also slept through the night since she was 3 weeks old, and now sleep 10-12 hours straight every night! Don't be alarmed, you just have a great baby!

My son was like this till he started teething. He only cried when he was dirty or hungry. Otherwise he was always happy. This time with my daughter she is a little more tempermental, but overall a happy baby.

My first son was really mildly mannered, and I thought that was because he was a boy. I was a little sad to find out I was having a girl this time around because I figured she would be a nightmare, lol! Well that was not the case she's even better then her brother was, although she did cry when I clipped her nails two weeks ago when I took a chunk of finger off (I felt horrible), now I do it while she's sleeping. She goes to whoever wants her even my sons friends who want to hold her. She'll be sitting on a 4 yr olds lap all scrunched up just looking around. My friends all hate me because I've had two easy pregnancies and two easy kids, even my doctor doesn't understand it I'm sure when she turns 13 I'll want to send her away but I'm just going to enjoy it for now!

My daughter is 4mths and content all the time apart from when its milk time she just blows lol but once she has milk shes ok so just the short spell well i get milk. shes getting better as i have introduced baby porridge and rusks so shes not so demanding now
