Hey, im suffering from mild heartburn nearly all the time no matter what I eat or drink and the antiacids that my doctor prescribed me make me sick which is then murder with heartburn if im sick, i dont know what to do it wasnt this bad ever with my son I only got mild heartburn from eating dariy products in the final 6wks with him

with my 1st I had heartburn ALL the time! We used to joke thinking about a glass of water could give me heartburn. Regular rolaids worked for me, oddly enough the tums were ok but rolaids were great. and they are completely safe.
Not sure what you prescription is but we were told that prescription heartburn pills (ranitidine- zantac) can cause birth defects so we were warned to stay aways from that even otc stuff.
good luck I know it sucks- had it all through my 1st pregnancy and now its starting again with this one

When I was pregnant with my son I had heartburn no matter what I ate or drank too. Papaya enzimes helped so much. I ate them like candy. And I am starting to get heartburn with this pregnancy too and papaya enzimes seem to be helping again.

I thought I had heartburn when I was prego with my son but mine was a gall bladder issue. My pain was in my chest area. It was sludge which turned to stones by the end of the pregnancy, and then I had my gall bladder removed after he was born. Talk to your doctor all they did was a simple blood test to see for me. Otherwise I feel for ya I'm so happy I haven't had to deal with it at all yet this time around!
