Hi All please suggest a good reliable breast pump. I am frustrated by mine.

I bought a Phillip Avent manual breast pump, it meant to be good, it has good review and quite expensive. But it was really good for a few days, expressed a lot of milk quickly and after that it just works on one day and not work on the other, and one little part in it just keeps on popping off, I have to reassemble a million times during each express, so unhygien and inefficient.

Then I borrowed a Pigion electrical one, OMG, so slow, and it hurts sometimes.

Please help, what breast pump is good? I don't care how much, as long as it works well and doesn't cause problem.

Medela pumps are really good. I have had/borrowed three different ones and I exclusivly pumped for baby #1, breastfed & pumped like a dairy cow for #2, mainy breastfeed #3, but love my pump for when I do pump!

Medela TOTALY worth the money! i have a double electric but here is a tip if you dont use them both at same time you get more suction out of one. * i was able to nurse my baby all day long and still have over a 2 mo plus supply in freezer!

I don't need to pump too often, so I went with a Medela Swing single pump and it has worked great.

I have a Medela pump in style. It works great and I have never had a problem with it.I exclusively pump so I use it all the time. Medela is totally the way to go.

Medela. It was recommended to me and I love it. I've used it through two babies.

I bought a medela double electric pump and LOVE it. After my first one i just had a single hand held pump not meant to be used everyday, it was so loud and slow also a medela. I decided that this time around I was going to pump while at work and spent the money and I haven't had any problems at all with it, I actually wish I had spent the money after my first one. The way I figured within 3 months it would pay for itself and that was almost 5 months ago! Good luck.
