My son was 9.1 ounces and 21.3 inches when he was born. At 6 weeks he weighs 12.6 lbs and 23.5 inches.

My dd is a little over 2 months also. At birth she weighed 6 lbs 15 1/2 oz. At her two month check up she was 11 lbs 2.9 oz.

I think my little man's got everyone beat! He was born March 20th at 8lbs 7oz and 22 inches long. Now, at 10 weeks, he's 18lbs 1oz and almost 25 inches long. Only breastmilk for my guy and he's all smiles!! =) He's healthy and that's all that matters to me. I agree with Simone...there's no point in getting caught up in height and weight stats. As long as they're gaining weight and developing in every other way you should be a happy mama.

My baby boy was born March 12th,2010 weighing 8lb3oz. He is now 11 weeks and 2 days old and is 12lbs2oz. He is long and lean apparently and at a healthy weight. I think they say the guideline amount is about an ounce a day, or just under a pound a fortnight... but seriously it's so easy to get hooked on weight stuff and as long as your baby is happy and healthy and eating well she's probably fine your health visitor will detect any signs of unhealthy under/over weight issues straight away x Hope this helps :-)

My boy was born March 12th weighing 9 lbs 1.6 oz, at his 2 month appointment he was 15 lbs 7 oz (off the charts for his weight)... he is a breastfed baby and his weight certainly lets us know he's a great eater!!! :D

My chunker weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. at birth and at 2 months is up to 14.4 lbs!!! She loves to eat (breastfeed)!

My son Cayden was born March 4th and he was 6lbs 2oz, and when we left the hospital he was 5lbs 14oz. At his 2 month visit he was 11lbs and then we went back 2 weeks later (on the 24th) and he was 13lbs 2oz. He is getting big so fast!

My son was 9 lbs. 3 oz. at birth he went to the doctor when he was five weeks old for a rash that he had on his face and at that time he weighed 13 lbs. 2 oz. He goes in for his 2 month check-up on the first of June, and at the rate he is going I think that he will be around 16 lbs when he is weighed at that time.

Just had our 2 mos check today, and she is 10lbs 2oz and 23" long. She was born at 7lbs 15oz and 21" long. She is all leg, the doctor keeps commenting on how long and skinny her legs are.

my girl is just over 2 months as well. at birth she weighed 6lbs 10oz...at her checkup yesterday, she weighed in at 12lbs 10oz!!!! the doc said they usually double their weight at 4-6mos, but she's pretty much got that beat! (and yes, she's breastfed)

My baby girl was born March 30 and weighed 3.08 kgs and was 49 cms.At her 1 month check up she had gained almost 70 gms of additional weight however didnt grow in length. We are going for her two month check up on 26th and I can't wait to see what she is up to now.

My son John Bentley was born on March 4, 2010 he weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 20inches long.I was breastfeeding at the beginning but he was spitting up so he lost weight. At his 2wk visit he was down to 7lbs 13oz so i had to switch to formula and that wasnt an easy thing either he cant handle milk so i had to switch to soy. Since i made that change hes doing great at his 2 month visit he weighed 10lbs 13oz and hes still growing i can tell a difference every day!

he is also now 60cm up from 48cm i think he will dwarf his mommy when he grows up

my baby came out 8 lb 11oz and 2 months later he's 13 lb 11 oz....his numbers are off the chart lol his height is average for a 5 month year old and as stated earlier hes only 2 months lol. he was 21 in at birth and 8 weeks later he is 25.5 inches crazzzy almost 5 inches!

My son was 7lb 7oz, 21 inches long when he was born and at our 6 wk checkup last monday he weighed 10 lbs and was 7 wks then (its hard to get appointments right on time with the doctors in my town as there are only 4 for the town). I take him for his 2 month needles on May 25th too but not to his doctor, there is a public health nurse here that does the needles and keeps a record of their weights and heights and everything.

Lily was born on March 22nd and weighed 9 lb. 8 oz. and 22 1/2 inches long. She is now 7 1/2 weeks old and weighs 12 lb. 2 oz. I am nursing exclusively and she eats every 2 hours!

Our Abijah(girl) was born on March 13,weighed 6lbs 12oz. and 19in long. Today at 2 months weighs 8lbs.8oz. and 22in long. She has had a hard time putting on weight, She is still pretty much only able to wear newborn clothes. The past 2 weeks she has been putting the weight on nicely so praying she keeps it up.

My little girl was born on March 31st at 2:50 i the morning

when they weighed her, she was 6 lbs 7ozs, two days later she dropped to 5lbs, 3 ozs but then at her 1 month check up was 8lbs 8ozs...

i read somewhere that for the first 6 months the baby should gain the average of 2.5 pounds and then after 6 months it's 1 pound a month

Sheila, yes he loves his food and he's getting big, but doesn't look "overweight". The doc says he is in the 80th %tile. So, I'm watching him. I'm small and petite, dad is 6'3 and athletic. Guess we wait and see what happens. :)

Okay here we go.... This blows my mind!

Aiden was born on March 3rd, 2010 he weighed 6 lbs 6 oz as well, at his 10 wk checkup, he weighed in at 13 lbs 7 oz.
WHAT? Crazy and he doesn't look out of control big. He is perfectly healthy. Oh and he was born at 21 and 1/2 inches, he is now 23 inches.
