Well if your baby keeps coughing after you have tried everything I would take the baby to the doctors. My 5 month old kept coughing and I took him in and he had 2 ear infections and the cough is from the drainage....

If your baby has a runny nose, get a nasal aspirator. It sucks the snot out... sounds gross, and is kind of, but it works pretty good and you can't give them meds. You can also buy baby vicks to put on their chests, but don't use the regular stuff because it can burn their skin.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. Keep a humidifier in the room, use a bulb suction to get as much mucus out of their nose, and keep the mattress elevated to help with drainage. There aren't any cough meds safe for little ones this young so it just has to run its course. Hang in there and good luck!!

Try using a humidifier to help put some moisture in the air along with what Katie suggested. Hope the little guy feels better soon! No fun to see them feel so rotten : (
