My daughter just turned 5 months old and is on this schedule:

7 am - 5 oz bottle

9 am - 1/4 cup cereal mixed with 1 1/2 oz formula and 2 tablespoons of a stage 1 fruit

12pm - 2 tablespoons fruit, 2 tablespoons of a veggie, and a 5 oz bottle

3 pm - 5 oz bottle

6 pm - 1/4 cup cereal mixed with 1 1/2 oz formula and 2 tablespoons of a veggie

8 pm - 5 oz bottle

She is doing awesome on the schedule and she is a big girl and a great eater. She is asleep by 8:30 or 9 every night and sleeps until 7 the next morning, no night wakings.

I usually feed my son 3 meals a day consisting of rice & whatever babyfood is appropriate for the time of day that i am feeding him. He also gets a bottle with each meal so that he can wash it down. He drinks 3-4 bottles on top of that throughout the day, too.

I am a first time mom and my little girl is 5 months. she eats 4.5oz of formula every 4 hours by bottle. We have just started cereal by spoon and I have started her out at 2tbsp for her bedtime feeding along with her bottle. She seems to be taking to it well! I think ill do this for a couple days and if she is still showing signs of wanting more I will up it, and after 3-4 days I will probably introduce some to her morning feeding!! Hope this helps and all goes well

i give an 8 oz cereal bottle to my daughter in the mornings and at night feeding that contain 1/2 a jar of fruit. its 6 oz formula about 4 table spoons cereal and then the 1/2 jar fruit.

i feed her bottles 4-6 oz every four hours but for the lunch/ dinner feedings i add 1 jar of a vegetable and she eats the whole thing i offer her juice every day too she gets no more then 8 oz of juice in one day. she eats all of her jar food by spoon except the fruit i put in the bottles.
she gets a bit extra when i let her teethe on frozen/chilled fruit wrapped in a washcloth..but that's more like her getting the juice from it then actually her eating it.

my daughter is 5.5 months and has been eating solids since 3.5 months.

my daughter drinks 5 oz every 3 hours has porridge in the morning then a jar at lunch time ... sometimes she has a jar around 3ish it depends how hungry she is..

she's also on the hungrier baby milk has been since she was about 2 weeks... i think how much food and formula a 5 month old needs depends on how hungry the baby is... all babies are different.

My son has 2 solid feeds a day. He also has 4-5 bottles a day. Each child is different so depends on how much formula your 5 month old wants.

My girl is breastfed exclusively, 5 meals a day, since 2 weeks ago, I add 1 spoon rice cereal for lunch and diner (1pm and 5pm), feeding by spoon, then breastfeed. Now she has 2 spoons each time.

Well my little guy eats a lot!!! We was not being satisfied with formula alone. Took him to the doctors and they said introduce him to plain cereal so I did and he loves it. This is by spoon by the way. A few weeks went by and I introduced him to Gerber #1 foods. I mix one container in with cereal to make it just a little thicker. So now he eats all of the #1 foods but I did this over a few weeks by introducing a new food every 4 days to make sure he had no reaction to any new foods. The doctor says it is really up to the parent, you will know what your baby wants. So now Konnor eats a baby bowl of food 2 times a day, lunch and dinner with this he also eats a 4oz bottle. The doctor also said you can only feed a baby this young no more than 3 times a day because their bodies still rely on formula. After saying that Konnor eats 6oz with out food. I have a little porker on my hands lol!! Good luck, if you have any other questions about how much food or formula for a 5 month old feel free to ask...

My little man has four 250mL bottles a day, before his last bottle he has a whole 120g jar of baby food. He's been doing this for a couple of months now. He's five months now.

My son is almost five and a half months now, and has been eating solid foods since he was four months old. Most of the day he breast feeds every 2-3 hours, and sometimes has a bottle of either breastmilk or formula (4-6 ounces depending on whether or not he's breast fed right before). When he has formula, I add cereal to the bottle, either rice or oat cereal. I add a teaspoon for every couple of ounces, just like the formula. At night, around 630 or so, he has solid food (this is usually about 30-60 minutes after his last feeding/bottle). Thus far he's had carrots, squash, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes and tonight, he started his fruits. He had pears! I give him a third of a jar of baby food every night, to make sure he's not reacting badly to it. He hasn't had any reactions thus far :)

My son eats 6 oz of formula every 3-4 hours too. I feed him 1 1/2 tablespoons of rice cereal by spoon in the mornings then he has a normal bottle afterwards. I think they say to give the bottle first, then the cereal but I do it the other way around.

Khloe eats 6 oz at her morning feeding then 4-5oz every 4 hours throughout the day. I started spoon feeding rice cereal about 2 weeks ago and right she started spitting up and having diarrhea. I stopped and she's back to normal. I'm not sure her digestive system is ready for it yet :( Gonna try again though, in 2 more weeks.

my son eats 6-7oz every 3 hrs. As well as 2 oz fruit in the morning after bottle and 2 oz of veggies at dinner time after bottle. i always do it after the bottle so that he gets his full share of milk. I'd rather he skimp of the baby foods then his milk at this time.

My son will be 5 months this month and he usually eats 4oz every 2-3hrs. We just started him on baby food and he will eat anywhere from the whole little jar or just have of it in the morning. When he eats his baby food he doesn't get a bottle with it he gets water. Here soon we will start adding a lunch time feeding.

My daughter drinks 6 ounces every 3 to 4 hours, if it's my day off I usually bf so it's hard to say. She gets 2 ounces of stage 1 baby foods once a day but it never replaces a bottle feeding since her primary nutritien comes from formula or bm. The food she gets is just so she gets used to eating solids.
