How often do you sweep, mop, and vacumm...now that our babies are crawling and getting into everything!

I was vacuuming every other day but now my little girl is terrified of the vacuum. She will start screaming and shaking for me to pick her up. I even tried vacuuming with her in my arms. She has never done this until about a week ago. Any tips on what to do?

We have 2 boxers so I vaccum every morning & siffer wet jet the kitchen floor, I try to keep the dogs out of her playing space but she's almost walking so its hard to keep her contained now!! If I dont vaccum she gets furry hands!!! lol

Uhhhh...this is almost my life!
I sweep at least 3 time a day ( after every meal) and I try to vaccum the carpet in the livingroom everyday but usually ends up every other day (we have 3 cats)I hardly ever mop :( its so much work! I spot clean on my hands and knees usually.

I TRY to sweep everyday and vacuum 1 - 2 times a week and mop once a week...hard to do with a 10 month old following the sweep/vacuum/mops every move! LOL

omg my hubby and i were talking about just this yesterday. I have always done it pretty much once a week (if i can) but, i'm trying to vacuum/sweet every other day and mop once a week now that he is walking and carwling

i use the steam mop every day my home is all tile...its so easy i dont even complain anymore lol

i sweep every day, i vaccum maybe once a week (we only have 2 rooms w/ carpet) and i mop about every other day. @ shauna - if you have tile floors, keep your reg. mop handy if you get a steam mop. they are GREAT for disinfecting, but no so great for cleaning alone.

We mop about once a week but we run the vaccum every other day. We have a small vaccum that we run over the tile and then run the big one over the carpet. There always seems to be something on the floor for my daughter to get into. She has now found the cat food so we have to constantly move it and make sure pieces aren't on the ground because she will eat them!

most definently daily if not twice a day. i have a 24 m.o boy and a 10 m.o boy- and they make one hell of a mess!!!! lol. but they're good and they're having fun, so i don't really mind

Aww poor thing...3 times a day i can barely do it 3 times a week! BTW you should get a steam mop...its awesome...no more hands and knees scrubbing and it kills 99% of germs!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG------ I have a dog, who is basically my husbands lover. and he never brushes the damn thing, and i refuse to b/c hes not my responsibility!!!!! that being said here goes 3 times a day i do this: Sweep, then swiffer, then vaccum, and then get on my hands and knees and mop the floor 3x a day!!!!!!!! we have alot of wood flooring and the bedrooms carpet. IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!!!!!! even with i do this stupid routine my LO still gets hair stuck to him when he crawls on the floors ... its so ANNOYING! its topic of every argument me and my husband have!
