My daughter who is 13 weeks goes once a day between 8 and 10 in the morning. It makes like very easy knowing when to expect it. don't worry.

Yes that is completly normal especially if you are breast feeding!! They say when you baby gets bigger they digest the milk quicker and produce less stools. Just as long as he does not seem to be straining. My little girl is only breastfed and only goes everyother day and is happy and healthy!!

Thats normal, my son was also born in March and he goes a few times a week. As long as he is drinking plenty and his poo isn't green or hard then its fine.

My daughter will only poop every like 3-4 days. She is formula fed only. I was told to give her a teaspoon of dark Kayro syrup in each 4oz bottle until she goes on a regular basis then back it off to every other bottle for a few days, and so on and so forth. After doing this she pooped every 3-4 days, before that it was every 5-6 days. My doc still doesn't seem to be concerned because when she does poop it is not hard or pasty.

absolutly, My Brayden poops maybe once a week and we have to give him Karo to make that happen. It is extremely frustrating but am told it is normal...

my daughter is the same way, from what i have read it is normal. if he is going more than four days or if it has the consistency of peanut butter or thicker then you may have a issue. i gave my daughter prune nectar to clear it up and she has been great, that was recommended by a infant dietician. she said either prune or pear nectar though, not the juice.

if you are breastfeeding than YES this is perfectly normal. A bf baby goes once every 1-7 days (yes 1 poop every 7 days is also normal) as long as it is not dry or they are in pain. the reason for this is that there is very little waste in breast milk so it takes longer to build up enough to have to poop. good luck but seriously as long as your baby is not in pain than it is all good. Do not add juices or syrups if there is no reason too baby only needs milk for the 1st 6 months. Good Luck :~)

My daughter was born March 19 and up until about 2 weeks ago she was going a few times a day and then all of a sudden she went 3 days without a poopy diaper! Since then she has a poopy diaper every couple days and I was told that this is completly normal for breast fed babies and as long as baby doesnt seem to be in pain and pushing really hard when they do have a bowel movement then it is nothing to worry about.

My pediatrician had me a *dark* karo syrup to my sons bottles.....a usually just put a little bit in each bottle so that it is in his system continuously....and he goes at least once a day now :) Good luck to you and your little one!

Are you breastfeeding? Breastfed babies can go up to 2 weeks w/o the messy diapers w/o any issues. (Mine usually goes 10 days - and it's nice only having to change wet diapers :)

Of course, then you end up with a poop-splosion... but since I cloth diaper, we have *no* leaks! (not ever. Cloth is a happy thing. AND saves a ton of money. $100, and no more money spent on diapers again. Beat that, sposies!)

my son only goes every few days. Has since he's been born 3/18. We give him a very small amount of karo syrup in his formula to help once we think he's gone to long without goin. But doc says its fine as long as he's not constipated which he's not. Babies are like little people, some people dont go everyday...i was told not to expect him to go everyday.

My daughter who was BF was going every other day for about 2 to 3 weeks. Now all of the sudden she's back to going 5 times or more....personally I'd rather have the every other day so I wouldn't have to use so many diapers. But it is completely normal so don't worry about it.

yep my daughter will take like 2 days to have a poop, and then poop like 2 or 3 times throughout the day, she was born on march 9th and i do give her an ounce of baby apple/prune juice every couple of days which seems to help, my ped did say that as long as when they do poop its soft in texture they are ok, the color doesnt matter i guess cause makenzi (my daughter)'s poop is like the rainbow! LOL :)
I dont worry too much about that cause as long as your baby is happy i think all is well, but try the prune juice, I will tell you I had a very hard time finding it, cub, walgreens, and walmart were all sold out, finally found it at target but the first time i went there they were sold out too, so its a common problem among babies! LOL
