We live in south TX so my poor 15-month old gets bites all the time playing outside. Anything I can do to help him get less bites? My mom said ask his Doc if there is a form of "Off" you can use safely...hubs says just let it be. Thoughts??

We use bug bands, it is all natural and seems to work great. They also have bug off stickers you can put on clothing, hats and shoes. I even use the band! In our back yard we have lots off natural Tiki torches.

We just bought some bug spray from walmart for our 15 month old son a few days ago. It's DEET FREE. It's called "Cutter Natural Insect Repellent". It even says on the bottle safe for the entire family.

there are off wipes. at least here in Canada there are. You can get them at walmart they work great. I have a 15month old and i use them on her

I live in northeast Texas so I can relate to your bug problem a little bit. I've done a bit of research on it and so far I've found that pediatricians recommend using bug sprays with 10% or less of DEET. However, it still says to not apply it on the face or hands and to wash it off after you've come inside. I'm very interested in the clip on fan made by OFF. Since I wouldn't be putting chemicals on my son it seems like a safer alternative.

There is actually a baby brand of off... just for babys! I think you can purchase it at Wal-Mart or a Pharmacy! Hope it helps!

I usually do not put anything on my son. If he gets a bite Benadryl makes a gel that I put on the bite to make it stop itching, It also seems to heal it a lot faster and makes the swelling go down:) Hope this helps:)
