Kayla I had that problem before I switched to the nontoxic detergant...if you ever get tired of hand washing try the nontoxic detergant and no heated dry. the heated dry seals in all the crap from the detergant and hard water..yuck!

Oh hun I have been washing in a dish washer since he was 3 months old...I couldnt take it anymore! It is perfectly safe I would just be catious of the toxins in the detergant and bottles.
So Make sure they are made of polypropyleen...most are these days its BPA free. Also i am a toxic phobe so I use a phosphate and chlorine free bio degradable powder dish deterganat by seventh generation! Oh I dont wash any other type of plastics that are not bpa free with them for fear of the bpa leaking onto them during the cycle...that might sound a bit crazy but anyhow! I also do not use the heated dry! anyway...go for it!

I hand wash all my bottles now, I was putting them in the dishwasher but the nipples were getting cloudy and greasy looking, since i switched to hand washing they are crystal clear and much more sanitary i think. It takes a little more time but its worth it:)

My husband and I would spend A LOT of time hand washing bottles. Finally we started putting them in the dishwasher and it's so much easier! I haven't hand washed a bottle in a really long time and I love it!

I Dont i always hand wash. The thought of what else is being washed in the dishwasher with the bottles grosses me out. Hand washing you know your getting them clean. But if your only washing bottles only with no other greasy plates etc i suppose it would be fine... whatever floats your boat :)

I do it all the time. I don't however use the "heat dry" option. I read that it can warp some bottles and cause them to leak.

iI do this too, just so they do get super sanitized. The water gets really hot in there.

yes! I wash mine on the top rack, and the cycle on sanitary. It works great, and in my opinion it is totally safe.

it is fine I do it all the time...they even have stuff that you can put the nipples and caps and what not in. It sure makes it a lot faster plus you know they will get cleaned!
