What did your babys first movements feel like to you?

I was 14 weeks with my baby and it felt like little gass bubbles. They weren't very strong but I knew that it was baby:)

I am now 27 weeks pregnant w/ my first child and I only weighed about 110 when I got pregnant. I started feeling what I thought was gas bubbles, but I didnt have gas! Hard to explain, but little bubbles. Now and for a for weeks I have been able to really feel my son. Last night I watched my whole stomach shift from side to side. I wouldnt get too worried anytime soon, because the doctor does check for the heartbeat at every visit that you go to. Plus, if you have had an ultra-sound and saw everything was going fine, then the baby is ok. I was anxious at first to feel him and got a little worried, but he is a little soccer player now. You will definitely feel your baby soon, don't worry. =)

Im 27 weeks and have a very hypo baby, seems to move about more than it sleeps. I think like all the other women here that all pregnancies are different but this is my first baby and i started feeling movements from about 16 weeks. started off like little air bubbles poping and now feels like its playing soccer or bouncing about on a trampoline. Give it time and it'll happen, exciting moments when it does!!

I'm 21 weeks and i havent been feeling him at all (or i havent felt i have felt him lol). Today, though i noticed that ever so often i get a gassy/crampy feeling in certain parts of my tummy...i noticied i think that was him... and then tonight i felt him moving for the first time like crazy! It feels like bubbles bouncing all around in my tummy. its amazing. it is so wonderful to finally feel him and know he's all right. :)

this is my first ... the placenta is on the bottom and it still took 21 weeks for me to feel my boy.... so dont worry about it...

Your baby will be fine. Sometimes it's earlier than 19 week and sometimes it's later than 19 weeks. It just depends on the person and the baby but if you are worried then talk to your m/w.

TBH yes every pregnancy is different. With my first I felt her kick at about 3/4 months however with this one I felt her kick 4/5 month. But the feeling is like butterflies which is usually in your lower abdomen, this feel is usually sudden. Sometimes it can stay for longer that others and then when you get further along in the pregnancy it's obviously like something hitting you from inside lol. If you are worried then visit your m/w that's what they are there for. Good luck and congrats.

I agree with evryone else. Every pregnancy is different. I am having my fifth. I have just gone 22wks and the baby has been kicking really strongly for about 2wks but before that not really alot. The others were all different. my 2nd hardly kicked at all the whole time and when she cameout i think she slept for 6mnths solid. The third I felt around 14 wks. I think it probably depends on the baby's position and your size and goodness knows what else.Just try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy shortly you might be wishing they would keep still when they discover what a fantastic trampoline a bladder is.

With my first I felt him super early on (around 15wks) and He would "bounce" around. It felt like I had a super bounce bouncy ball inside me. lol. With this one (I'm 19wks 5days) it's been TOTALLY different. I just started feeling movement at the beginning of this week and it felt more like gas bubbles but I had no gas. Every day it gets a little more sure and a little harder more like a what you would imagine a tiny foot poke to feel like. I wouldn't worry to much about not being sure if your baby is moving or not. I've known moms who hardly felt movement until 22wks. I just had my 20wk ultrasound today and that is probably the most reassuring thing in the world because you can SEE your baby is healthy.

To me it just feels very much like food digesting, except that I assume it's the baby moving around because it will be sudden and down low. I don't think I would have known it was the baby kicking around unless someone had told me it would feel like that. I'm looking forward to really being able to feel some strong kicks! :)

with my first pregnancy, i didn't feel anything until she started kicking at 22 weeks. i'm 20 weeks now with this second pregnancy, and i think i feel some movement...but i'm waiting until the kicks to know for sure. don't worry, 19 weeks isn't late at all.

At about 19 weeks I felt what was like a gas bubble that floated up several times a day and a day later at our ultrasound, we say the baby moving around like crazy. This is our first pregnancy so I was unsure what to expect but this is what a lot of friends told me to expect.

At 19 weeks it is still a little early to feel a lot of movement especially when it is your first. I would best describe it as butterflies in your stomach usually down low. Once you are in your third trimester is when you can really feel and sometimes see the movement. I am sure nothing is wrong, my first pregnancy I didn't feel movement until 22 weeks.

I am 16 weeks, 4th pregnancy, I can tell each one was different! the usual feeling I got at first is hard to describe, it was down low and like a swoosh. Sorry. not much to go by!!! buit I also feel like there is a bubble in there moving up and down and when I sit, with this baby, and my last, it comes up right under my right breast. If you thiunk you feel your baby moving you are probably right!!! it's a feeling you really can't describe with one word!!! and you know your body that it probably isnt gas!!!! hope I could be of some help!!! oh, I have been feeling this bubble for a week or two!!!
