Baby teething question?

I was just wondering if there's any particular order baby teeth usually come in? My older son got his front bottom 2 first, then his front top 2 - but my 8.5 month old got her bottom front two in at 6 months, and another has just popped through, not the front top where I expected it, but to the side of where her top ones will be. Is this uncommon?

There is a order they are supposed to come in but its not bad if they dont, just make sure you note which teeth came in when as some dentist like this info later on. My daughter was totally backwards with all her teeth, got the top two then bottom two then next top two all in eight weeks then nothing for months two bottom teeth about three months later then another two months wait and cut all her molars and eye teeth all together which wasnt nice at all!!!! Just give them heaps of cuddles and kisses and cold things good luck with it all

Usually it's the front two on the bottom first and then the top front four next in any random order. Two of my kids got the outside incisors before the two front teeth and the other three got the two front teeth first. All of them got the bottom two front teeth first. They tend to follow that same order, or close to it, when they fall out and the permanent ones come in as well.

Same here as ^^ 2 bottom teeth at 6months and now i see 4bulging at the top but not cutting through i hope it happens soon. My little cousin had "milk teeth" when he was born tjats went away...then he got the 2 bottom around 5months then the milk teeth came back as the next two which where the vampire teeth and then they filled regular from then on he looked so funny when he smiled lol

My 9 month old baby got her first two teeth on top when she was 6 months old, doesn't have any more and I don't see more teeth coming out. Is it normal? Had any of your children being like this? I'm a little bit worried :(

My 8 1/2 mth.old son's teeth are not "growing" in order & I'm sure it's normal. The 1st one popped out on the bottom & it was just one tooth. The one next to that one is finally growing along with two more on top. The weird thing about the two on top is that one is growing in the front where its suppose to be & the other one is growing next to that one. Meaning its growing on the right of the front tooth. I hope it makes sense. I'm sure the other front tooth is hiding somewhere just waiting to pop out. My little guys teeth are growing bonkers. It's kind of weird but cute. I can't wait for the day when they all come out so I can sleep peacefully.

My son got his two bottoms and then his two tops but now my 9 month old daughter has 4 bottom teeth and none of her top teeth have come through yet. It does feel like two are really close though.

They arent supposed to come in in any order, but there is an order that is the most common. But there is definitely nothing wrong if they come in differently. My 2 year old got teeth all over the place. Her first tooth was a bottom tooth, and 5 months later she got her 2nd tooth on top. From there they just seemed to randomly pop up!

Thanks! I was checking her gums again earlier and noticed the front top ones are both pushing through - so she's going to get 3 teeth all at once, poor thing :(
