Im 37 weeks. So the other night I was pretty sure I was in Labor. I was having contractioins lots of pressure and felt a lot of cramping. When I went to the restroom I saw blood in my urine I noticed it was only in my urine. So went to the ER come to find out I had bladder infection. It's so uncomfortable and feels like Im cramping bad. I have medicine to take and its really helping, other than that I dont feel good at all. Did anyone else go through this or is anyone else having this problem???

I had a bladder infection and it was AWFUL! Ive had them when I wasnt pregnant and, while uncomfortable, it was NOTHING like what I felt with this. I could hardly move and really felt like something was terribly wrong. I mentioned to my doctor it felt like a very severe bladder infection, and I was shocked I was right! The antibiotics helped me pretty quickly, and after a few days I was as good as new. Good luck with it- I feel for you!

I have thrush. How awful? I'm 36 weeks and have (stupidly) been putting tissue oil in my bath for the last 3 months - even tho they told me not to. Hence, a lovely discharge that had me running to my midwife's rooms at 11pm Saturday night for a check-up... (Thought it was meconium staining!) Am taking something for it, and hopefully it'll go before baby arrives. But in general, I feel pretty awful: achy, sore, unable to sleep and now, I have what my mother calls a 'blossom complaint' :) Yuk.

have you had them check for a kidney stone? That will cause the kind of cramping you are talking about. I had 2 kidney stones with my first (thankfully NONE so far with this baby)... but it is a horrible pain and i would have totally thought I was going into labor if I didn't know what it felt like. blood in your urine to me seems like it would be more than just a bladder infection. Hope you're feeling better soon!
