What do all you lovely mummys and mummys to be think about raspberry tea leaf,i never used it with my son but have ordered some off ebay im 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant and dont know if i should start taking it as it might start me straight away or maybe not work at all ,i would love to here what you guys think please xxxxxx

I am having my c-section on Wed. So excited. 2 more days! The only problem I am having is feeling so sorry for my son who is 2 and my little prince. Life is going to be very different for him. I have never been away from him at night and now I will be gone for 4 days :0( I am hoping his big sisters will help him through it, not to mention his daddy :0)

Never heard of anyone getting sick from tea. That sounds awful. Maybe you made it a bit too strong :0)

well i had a strong cup and was sick as a dog nearly neva made it to the sink the sickness came that fast it just wasnt for me xxx

I have done a ton of research on this and it DOES NOT bring on labor. It only strengthens the uterus. Nothing brings on labor except your baby or your doctor. Plus it tastes great so drink up!

I am just taking the raspberry leaf tablets, it said you can start taking them from 32-34 weeks so ahve been taking them since then.

my midwife told me that it works great in preparing your body for labor and that some women even make ice cubes of it for during labor because it can help with the pain and also make your contractions more productive, something to consider!

Thanks ladies i never mentioned it to my midwife just my partner who is against it hehe my body though,it came today I think I will start at 38wks if nothing happens before hand goodluck Cori ;),Oh did you not it's got loads of uses revitalise the body after you have the baby too am glad it tastes nice hehe becareful because on the packet it says not suitable if having a c sec might put you into full force labour goodluck with the rest of your pregnancy ladies xxxx

I've got some. I love the taste but had no idea it could start labor. I contract all the time, but nothing productive so I guess I will start drinking more :0) I am 37 weeks with my 4th child. Scheduled c-section March 23rd.

my midwife said to wait until after 38 weeks because it can have different effects on people... some people will go into labor quickly other people it just ripens the cervix for delivery! i plan on starting to drink it tomorrow as my sister gets in town to watch my older son while i am in labor and i am 2 days shy of 39 weeks pregnant.. ill let you know how it goes! see if it works for me!!
