I am almost 6 weeks with my 2nd,and I can't determine if its just bloating, or if my jeans are really getting tighter already!!!! which concerns me a little because I've actually lost weight since I got pregnant! I have been told that since I had a c-section with my son, I will show alot earlier this time around due to stomach muscles are weaker?!?!

im also on my second baby, and i too started showing at 7 wks. i guess it's normal because everything is already stretched from the first baby. (at least that's what my Dr. told me when i asked.) I'm now 20 wks, and i am getting my gallbladder taken out at around 24-27 wks.

Yep. I had people rubbing my belly at 12 weeks. Sucky, huh?

I didn't start to show anything until 12 weeks along and this is my second time around. I was a bit upset since with my first it took 5 months to start showing. But now that I see that it is normal, I don't feel as bad. Now that I'm 15 weeks along, I have a pretty noticeable bump but I can still hide it. I just can't wait to get through the "fat looking" stage and get on to the I'm pregnant and ppl can tell stage.

I was too, but then again I'm having twins. Now at almost 16 weeks, I look closer to 6 months pregnant! I love the baby belly!!!!

I'm pregnant with my second and I was showing that early. I'm nearly 14weeks now and haven't got much bigger, as being sick so often i have lost 9lbs.

It probably is bloating, since you know our hormones slow digestion. I honestly feel like I am already 'showing' and I am only 11 weeks.

I am 13, almost 14 weeks along, and was showing by the 8th week. This will be my first baby. I read up on it, and the only explanations I found were:

Bloating

Excess belly fat during pre-pregnancy

Pregnant with twins.

thanks for all the comments and support! I guess at the time I posted this I was really just bloated but now that I'm 10 1/2 weeks I am definitely showing. A few pants are too tight already, and the maternity clothes came out of the attic to be used very soon!

I am 12 weeks and im showing but I started showing at about 7 weeks, had to put on my maternity jeans already. This is my 3rd. I actually lost weight but my belly is bigger lol. No morning sickness guess i'm just eating better this time around, so that I avoid getting huge like I did the last couple times. My due date is March 16th :-) Congrats to all of you!

This is my 2nd successful preganancy, 4th really! I started showing at 6 weeks also!! I've been wearing maternity clothes ever since and I'm now 13 weeks! So it's normal!! Enjoy the belly! Soon it will be all over for us all! I know I sure missed being pregnant after having my son!

I am going on 12 weeks and I'm not showing to anyone else but I know the changes my body has already gone through. About 8 weeks I had a small problem with water retention and it made me feel HUGE. I couldn't fit into any of my pants (save my maternity pants from my first) and felt stupid wearing them. Since then my diet has changed and I've got a tiny little bump going. I've only had to take two pairs of pants out of my closet so far :D. Call me strange but I can't wait to get out ALL my maternity clothes!!

I'm 10 1/2 weeks along with my first and I can not even button my jeans anymore. I think that's early but my aunt (who has a similar build to me) was in maternity pants by 10 weeks so maybe it's a family thing.

Me too, its kinda driving me nuts, I din't start showing with my 1st until 4mths. I had my husband bring out the maternity clothes this weekend.

My first you couldn't tell until 6-7 months, the 2nd about 4-5 months, this time I'm 10 weeks and some days I feel like I'm showing and others I don't, but most of my jeans are snug enough that the little belly band thing comes in handy. I've only gained about 3lbs though.

With my first I showed at 3 months and looked like 6. And its not as if my belly wasnt strong. Before the pregnancy i had a washboard flat stomach, and while i was still trying to get that stomach back after the birth, i was also trying to get pregnant. So now Im pregnant 8 weeks and it looks like this one is going to be an even bigger bump.

Georgia- don't worry, people's muscles stretch and grow in different ways. Somedays I think I am showing more then I am, but since I had a c-section with my son, I think my muscles were weaker, so my stomach wasn't flat to begin with. And don't feel weird, I have worn some maternity stuff too. But since I'm a stay at home mom, I wear pj pants most of the time anyways, so I haven't notices much of a difference. Keep us posted if it is twins, though. Good luck!

Well, I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I am absolutely HUGE. This is my second child (I have an 18 month old daughter). Everyone that sees me notices the belly and thinks I'm having twins. I go to the Dr. on the 30th for the 1st time so hopefully he will do an US and we will know. I just kind of "popped" at about 5 1/2 weeks and my husband says I grow daily. I feel so strange being in preg clothes already and having this belly. I think it's going to be a long hall!!! :)

I am up and down with the showing. Some days, I can't hold it in. Other days, you wouldn't know. But I still haven't lost all the weight from my 11 month old, so it's still awkward to see myself in the mirror with the extra 15 lbs. Most of the time though, I think I'm showing.

I kind of feel like the odd duck out here, I'm 10 weeks, still wearing my regular pants with no change in how they fit! Although, I was nearly 7 months along with my first child before anyone could tell I was pregnant and not just having gained a little weight!

I think with your second (or third, or whatever) it comes and goes. It depends on the day. The muscles are already stretched, so they are going to stretch faster. But somedays I feel like I am showing, and somedays not. I am 8 weeks 1 day, and I havn't gained any weight, but I feel like my stomach is sticking out a bit.

Im 10 weeks, pregnant with my second, today i feel like im showing! :-) but over the last few weeks i think i have just been bloated! I cant wait to have a nice big belly again and not feel fat!

I certainly am starting to feel my waist get a little thicker, but this is my second child and I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. Nothing really noticeable though.

I am 10 weeks and I think I am showing already but this is my third so I expected that. Plus I wasn't able to finish my diet/exercise goal of dropping 30 lbs before getting pregnant. I also gave birth to our son in March 2010 so my belly didn't have a chance to fully go back to what it was. We weren't planning on this, this soon but I think everything happens for a reason ;)

I just had a baby March 4 2010 so I haven't had a chance to get rid of my belly yet from that one. This time instead of my organs getting squished up right away my belly is starting to get firmer. (Luckily its not noticable or else I won't be alowed to work construction anymore. XD)

I'm "showing" too, but I am pretty sure that it is just bloating since I feel so bloated. This is what happened last time with my daughter too so I expect it to go away soon and then start to really show in another month or two.

I will be 10 weeks this thursday; & this is my 2nd child aswell. & I feel like I started showing around 6 weeks too && i know my pants are already getting tighter even though i've lost a few lbs. I too didn't show with my first child until 5/6 months.

I am the same way! I am 6 weeks with my 2nd and already in maternity pants with a little belly! I didn't get a belly at all with my 1st until I was 5months.
