Throwing up when brushing teeth?

Most times when I brush my teeth I end up throwing up. Its so frustrating! The same thing happened to me with my daughter, and I had really hoped it would go away with this one, but no such luck. Does this happen to anyone else? If so, have you figured out a way to remedy it? My aunt went through the same thing with both of her girls and just suffered through it.

I think you should try the kid's toothpaste. If that doesn't work ask your Dr. for some anti-nausea pills and take them first, then brush your teeth 30 min later. I don't like that morning mouth either, but it's a lot better than throwing up, especially since i want to brush my teeth after i throw up. It would be a never ending cycle for me. Good luck to you.

I had that problem with my first and found changing to a different flabour of toothpaste worked where the taste was not so strong (like orange or one of the kids ones thats berry or bubblegum) and that helped a lot but was a bit weird not to get that minty fresh feeling. Hope it eases off for you soon!

I definitely dont try to throw up- it just happens. I try as hard as I can NOT to throw up. I brush a few times a day anyway, and hope for the best. Its miserable.

A friend of mine went through this all she could do was rinse and eat things that naturally clean teeth like carrots and apples. It's worse if you try and throw up because the acids will really wear on your teeth.
