Im due the 12th and seriosuly just called my obgyn nurse about this last week...this is my second child and the nurse said that what were experiencing is more common in ur 2nd, 3rd, and so on pregnancies but as long as ur not having contractions or bleeding with the pains no matter how sharp that they're perfectly normal. I discribed the pain to her as stoving my cervix lol and the pain would get much much worse when my lil bun would b active but she said it has to do with the stretching and pressure on our vaginal wall muscles.

I had forgotten about it with my first pregnancy but just experienced something similar last week and I am about 28 weeks. It basically last all day and favored my right side (really low, right above the vaginal area) for some reason. I almost went into the hospital but later remembered that I had something similar with the last one as did another friend of mine. I think it is the stretching ligaments, etc making room for the baby. Mine was like a severe aching kind of thing. Everything else seemed normal and it went away after a day although I felt it on the other side (less severely) a few days later. My friend had it so bad she was using a heating pad in front and back.

Also, remembering what my OB said: be sure to drink lots of water. If you get dehyrated those pains can really become prominent. Last year when I was pregnant with my last child it was during the summer. This time around drinking some extra water and getting a long nap in did help a bit.
