I am a childrens photographer. My son was born 2 years ago at only 30 weeks. so twice a year, november, preemie awareness month, and April, the month he was born, I off my portrait sessions for free if the families are willing to donate to the MOD. I even give 10% of whatever they order back.
I thought this was a great idea reaching out to other parents. I don't even ask for the donation to be as much as my sitting fee, just make a donation!! I have not gotten any response, I think this is crazy. any ideas on maybe how or where to advertise to get a better response?
And I am 29 week pregnant and high risk again. My little girl could show up any day, hopefully not. If so I would add another month for her birthday as well.
I was so excited about this :'(

I Think it is a fantastic Idea! call the NICU as stony brook and and ask to speak to Sister Lynn (she is with the MOD) maybe she can help you or let you put up flyers around the NICU. My son is in the NICU there now, I think what you are doing is amazing!
