my name is Jessie and my husband is Nick, I have a 5 yr and we are expecting "his' first, and he is super paranoid about what I eat and what i do who i am around how my son plays around me, we have been married for 2 months but have been together close to 2 years and made it threw a deployment, but i was just curious if anyone else's husband was that way, wondering if it is a marine thing or if mine is just odd

oh, he's just a new dad.  mine went through all stages of worry.  sometimes he'd be super-paranoid and didn't want me to do anything.  other times, he seemed annoyed if i was tired or "hormonal".  the best thing is to communicate what's going on with you.  because they can't experience the pregnancy themselves, it's difficult for them to judge how to help, what to do/say, what not to do/say.  just tell him how you feel and MAKE him get involved.  hopefully he'll be able to relax and understand that you want to give him a healthy baby and you would never do anything to jeapordize that.
