We're currently stationed in 29 Palms, CA and have been here for 6 years (crazy!). We will be moving to VA in a couple weeks, and living on a Naval base, and next to an army base. The whole area is going to be a little weird until we get adjusted to being away from the Marine Corps. Just looking for any info on what to expect that might be different, and also we have a house already - a 4bdr in Hamilton Redoubt. Apparently these were 2 bed 2 bath apartments that have been converted to 2 story "houses". Anyone been there and/or seen them? I'm having a hard time picturing them, even from Google maps street view. Oh, and I have 4 kids - 13, 9, 6, and 2.
