How Do You Celebrate Anniversary?

Marriage anniversary, what does this mean to you and what do you do for celebration?

For me, I just like to spend some quality time with my hubby and even a quiet dinner together. Don't know why, we used to do something special together, but I don't feel as necessary to do this now.. Is it because we have been married for 3 years now? Is this going to get worse as time goes on or should I try to spice up our marriage lives once in a while?

My hubby and I go on a weekend trip to to TN (2 hrs away) for our anniversary every year. We have 5 children (we've both been divorced and have children from previous marriages), and I think it is necessary to take time getting back to why you married this person to begin with! We have a strong support group of friends and we watch each other's children when we need "couple" time. We'll be married 10 years this year, and have done this since our 1st anniversary. We look forward to this all year long!

We celebrated our 1st anniversary by going on a nice 10 holiday to vanuatu, we got to spend quality time together without any worries. Our 2nd anniversary is in 3 weeks and we will probably have a nice quiet dinner together as this year we have our 7 month old daughter as well. We would of gone to fiji if she was a little older so have planned our first family holiday for later in the year.

We are celebrating our second anniversary this Sunday. We are looking forward to just being alone together for a hour or two. All week long we have been talking about what makes our marriage work for us and what we love about each other. We try to talk a little about that all the time, but we only concentrate on it once a year.

We try to keep life interesting, but that is not a challenge with my very silly husband.
