What was your wedding and honeymoon like?
We went to a bed & breakfast at a lake about an hour from where we live :) We were married in June, but it ended up being a very cold week and we spent most of the week in bed ;), or playing mini golf, lol! There was no way we were going in that water!

We had a small wedding in my husband Aunt and Uncles backyard with close family and friends. It was small but sweet. We had alot of fun. As far as the honeymoon goes well... we had six family members from out of town staying with us so we had a crowded house and lets just say it was an early bedtime that night but his Aunt and Uncle rented us a hotel room for one night (the night after we got married) and his mother watched the kids. We had dinner at the restaraunt in the hotel and then went out to the pool and just sat and talked ....... It was wonderful and it was nice to get a break and have it be just me and him.

We got married at one of our favourite beach locations. It was an awesome day except where his parents tired to ruin it, actually they tried to ruin the whole day but thats a whole other story. We had our honeymoon in Fiji and it was the best holiday we have had. We celebrated our 1st anniversary by going to Vanuatu and unfortunately can't return at the same time this year as our first born will only be 7 months. but we have planned to go to fiji again later in the year with our daughter :)

We got married at a court house. My sister bought me a dress. I had to stay in a hotel and had no friends or family to be with me. My husband lost track of time and had to rush to the court house. A few friends met us at the court house and then had dinner out with us. Then, my husband had to go back to base. We got our base housing the next day.
Very sad wedding day, very happy marriage.

I always wanted a tiny outdoor wedding but after some negotiation we ended up with a wedding in a cute little church (it was a big bigger than what I thought, too: with 160ppl). Be we had a nice small reception (of under 45ppl) on a nice inner-city deck. We stayed their for our first night, and then spent a few (I think 4) nights in Tasmania in a Bed and Breakfast cottage, which was lovely!

We had a Roman Catholic church wedding with only 50 people there. That was both of our families, two aunts and uncles each and our 3 closest friends. It was lovely as we knew everyone and it was very, very relaxed. We had a meal in our favourite restaurant and that night we had a big party for all our friends and cousins etc. We had a honeymoon booked to Paris but we got married on 29th Sept 2001 only 18 days after 9/11 and we cancelled our honeymoon as we didn't know what was going to happen in the world at the time. We just ended up going down the country for a week and staying with my aunt. We still haven't had a proper honeymoon so for our 10th wedding anniversary we are going to the Maldives on our own (no kids) for a week.

I married my husband 2 1/2 years ago in the church that I grew up in and where my parents were married. It was the perfect size wedding for us about 70 people. We had our reception in my sister in laws backyard. We had the food catered, and everyone had a good time. We left for our honeymoon the next day to Cancun Mexico. The best time of our lives.

We had a very small wedding, right before Christmas almost three years ago now. The ceremony was at my hometown, way up in the Colorado mountains. Two days before the big day, there was a huge blizzard in Colorado, and the airport shut down. I was already up at my parents' house, and my fiance was still in Denver. I was freaking out because I though he wouldn't be able to make it to his own wedding! My dad tried to comfort me, saying "honey, you're going to get married even if nobody makes it from Denver. You don't need all your friends there, or even all the family... oh wait! I forgot about David!" :)
Well, he did manage to get out of Denver, and was only half an hour late to the rehearsal. Because of the storm, we only had about 30-40 people attend, but it was the perfect size! My brother is a musician, and wrote me a piano piece that I walked down the aisle to. The ceremony was really short, about 10-15mins, and we only had a best man, maid of honor, and flower girl. The church was decked out for Christmas, so we just went with a candlelit, red/white/silver theme. We had our first communion as husband and wife, then said vows we wrote and agreed on together.
Afterwards we had dinner and dancing in the reception hall, which was lit only by white Christmas lights and candles made from pine boughs. We didn't serve alcohol cuz of icy roads in the middle of winter, but EVERYONE danced. Even my grandma got out there!
We took our honeymoon in Ouray, Colorado, which is considered the "Swiss Alps of Colorado." Our honeymoon suite had a private hot tub on the balcony and our package included two free dinners at a nice restaurant, two couples' massages, and two passes to the natural hot springs down the road. It was perfect!
