For the past 6 yrs BW has been providing birthday parties for children living in homeless shelters.
I read about them last year when I was researching my first book and wanted to help them as much as possible. Their website is www.birthdaywishes.org
If you are interested in helping please contact me thebirthdaygurumama@gmail.com or 774-287-0108,
Birthday Vendor Expo & Silent Auction 5/17 JSSC 70 Sumner St Milford 10-4
more info available at www.thebirthdaygurumama.com (A to Z Birthday Extravaganza page)
I need people to help at the registration table( 2-3 at each shift: 9:45-noon, 11:45-2 and 1:45-4) and the same shifts(1-2 people at each) at a table sponsored by Artbeat(Arlington and Franklin) where attendees can make sand-art cards for the children receiving parties from BW(all supplies donated)

This is an excellent program. I can't tell you how much it meant to my daughter and I when we were in a homeless shelter this time last year. I wish I was a little farther down the road towards normal in our lives so I could donate and give back.
