Sorry this is a bit of a vent
Omg, my poor baby this is her third time missing school and this is only the first month she's been in school. Went to the doctor yesterday for her having a cough for the day and a fever.... She did not go to school yesterday or today.... And when the doctor asked her if any of her friends at school had been sick lately my daughter listed off 6 kids names that had been sick at school and three of those kids had been sent home from school sick... My gut reaction as a parent is disgusted... I mean how can a parent send a kid to school when they know they are sick and I'm sorry as a parent you know when your kid is sick. It's bad enough schools are germ factories but it doesn't make it any better when kids are sent to school sick... Ugh sorry if I went off a little bit it just makes me upset that my daughter probley got sick from a kid at school and is now missing school because of that. She has now missed two days of school and might miss 2morrow as well and yesterday was picture day and my daughter missed it. Which also means she is around my younger daughter who is already sounding like she's getting sick and it's just going to keep going around and around...
(my daughter had to have a breathing treatment done yesterday at the doctors and now she is on three different meds and I will not be sending her back to school till she is well enough to go)
