Happy 5th Birthday!!

[deleted account] ( 4 moms have responded )

I just wanted to send out a big "Happy 5th Birthday" to all the kids born May 2006 :) My daughter is helping me plan her 5th birthday party - choosing Barbie as the "theme" - and it'll be at our local park & playground :) Preschool has really brought her a long way in social development this past school year and she's excited to start Kindergarten next school year. Let us know how your May '06 child is doing! :)

I keep track of what she sayes she wants but she's a million dollar kids. Like she wants an ipod $235, victoran doll house $900, a couple books at boreders like $25 each, and a couple $100 hello kitty dresses. Oh and she wants another pair of twinkle toes. She are ready has 2 pairs but she want wear them because the ones that light up has a rip of the fabric on the toe and the other pair don't light up! lol she thinks we're rich! But I did ended up getting her gifts. I got her a 8g ipod with extra insurance and tect support, hello kitty case, hello kitty ear phones, 52 begaining books, 4 signing time dvd, and some tutus. lol I think thats all

Cheri: That party sounds beautiful :) Suggestion for future "what to get" ideas: I put a paper on our fridge labeled "Kyri's Wish List" so whenever my daughter says she really wants something we put it on the list... it's been very helpful; not only for me, but for when Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, etc. ask what she needs/wants :) When I'm stumped I just go to the source: "What do you hope to get for you birthday?..."

My daughter Breanna is haveing a Fancy Nancy tea party! We rented a club house, and I'm making all the girls tutu's. Then I got them all fancy hats, boa's, gloves, purses, pearls, high heels, feather hair clip, tea cups, and place sitting party hats that have there names on them. Then the boys are getting capes, crowns, and swords. I bought everything I needed for her party but I haven't got her any gifts yet. I have no clue what to get her. I know she wants an Ipod and a victoran doll house. But the doll house I found out is $900. Which is crazy! Then if I get her an Ipod my son is going to want one too. So I was thinking a borders gift card, a spa day just for me and her, and like horse back riding lesson. I don't know what else to get her. Any idea's??
