My names Shandy, im an 18 year old, single mom raising a 20 month old son, Im currently still living with my parents, who help watch my son well im at work, i will soon be getting my own place, and going back to school, and then later on go to college for my nursing degree.

Good for you hon its not easy going to school with kids but it can be done do anything you can to make things better for yourself and son :)

I think that is very good, at least you know what you want to do with your life, not all 18 years olds do, alot of them have gotten pregnant to spite there parents for some reason or another and others just do it cause that is what they wanted, and then wonder why afterwards, they seem to think it is easy raising children,not all kids are the same, my two sons are totally different one from the other,not every kind of raising method works from one child to another either,but can be used and modified to suit the situation....I am glad that you have a great support system to help you get through school and help when you are not there,but remember they are not the ones who are raising him,you are and you have to make sure that you show him the right values in life and to remember to respect others and say please and thank you...I do however hope you are not offended by what I said... take care.. :)
