Alexxa was just weighed last week as she was sick. She weighs 21lbs and is only 31 inches. She had the same stats at her 2 year well child in June. The doctor was a little concerned that she does not weigh enough, but decided that she is fine because my other 3 daughters are tiny as well. I am only 5'1, so they expected that she would be short.

my son at 2 was 2' 11 " and weighed 37 lbs. he is almost 2 1/2 now and he weighs 45 lbs. he is ina 5T clothes they are a little long but i have to get the bigger on because of his belly!! he isnt really fat he is solid. he was a small baby smallest out of my 3 now he is the biggest. at 6 months he just started growing!

Well my 2yr old only weighs about 27lbs. but he is as tall as a 3rd old he's tall for his age they say but could weigh more as the health dept says lol. I don't worry about that though cause it's not as if he dont eat he just doesn't eat like he used to. I mean before he was 2 he was a garbage disposal and at 18month he was 24lbs but then as the time went and closer to 2 yrs he got he slowed down. Now i'm lucky to get him to slow down long enough to eat a whole meal instead he snacks all day but still he eats just smaller portions throughout the day but i guess all the extra energy burns off everything so he doesn't gain anything. He was weighed 2 weeks ago at 27lbs is why. But he does have 2 sisters. The oldest is tall for her age, which is 7, and weighs about 50lbs. Whereas, Jessica is 6 Nov. 3rd and is as tall as maybe a 4 yr old and weighs only 32 and half pounds. Doctors couldn't get her to gain weight at all they just said after so many yrs that she will be lucky to be 5foot tall. Like they say though everyone grows at their own rate some faster than others!!!

my daughter weighed 31lbs as well when she was 2, she's quite taller than her age group and could pass for a 31/2 yr old but for the way she mumbles up words, there's nothing to be worried about, it only means he'll be quite tall and is heavy to pick up 'cos its the bones that weigh.a taller person would definitely weigh more than a shorter person of the same size.

My daughter is now 2 yrs and 3 months old and weighs 31 lbs. She is also standing at just above 3 feet tall. My nephew is 4 years old and she's just as tall as him. Happy to know that she won't be short like me: I'm only 5 ft. tall.

My daughter turned 2 on May 18 and was weighing 23 lbs. 33 inches tall and was wearing a shoe size 5 but it was tight. Now in August she is 25 lbs. not sure on height but seems to have grown and wearing a size 7 shoe. She wasn't even 20 lbs untill 1 1/2. She was breastfed but couldn't handle it due to cow's milk protein allergy, then allimentum she was failure to thrive when she dropped from 25% to 3% and now back up to around 15% after over a year of Neocate amino acid formula. She wears very little size 2T, mostly 18 months and 24 months. She can wear a size 4 diaper or easy ups but recently switched to 5 for more absorbency to prevent leaks at night. She eats a lot. It is just no dairy and brown rice due to allergy. Then peanuts, tree nuts, fish, or shellfish due to high risk. She just started drinking soymilk in June. She eats all of the vegetables, fruits, meats, and loves bread.

Hi Shelia, my son weighs about 15-16kg. He is also tall for his age. He doesn't look overweight at ALL, but is also heavy to pick up.

My daughter is 36 inches tall and weighs about 30 lbs. It's nice to hear that many other kids are around that same size! Many people think that she is older than she is, espcially now that she's tlaking a lot more.

Yeah ours is about 29 lbs and as tall as most three year olds - I wouldn't worry his height and weight are proportionate to each other and that is what is important.

My daughter is 2 year's old and 2month's. she is 3 foot 3inches and almost weighs 35 pounds. My friends son is 3 and my daughter is taller then him. A lot of people think she is older then what she is because she speaks in full sentences .But she does not always understand what people are saying so they think like...what's wrong with your duaghter I am like she is 2..hello:)

My daughter wieghs 32.5 lbs! She has always been big for her age. She is tall too! The doctor says she's in great shape. There is no right or wrong height or weight. Whatever is right for your child is normal! :)

My daughter turned 2 on the 9th and weighs 27 lbs. She's just in the middle of the 50th percentile for weight and height. She's a little smaller than her friends of the same age but considering she was born at only 5lbs and in the 3rd percentile were doing great!!

My daughter Lauren turned 2 on the 16th. She is 37 1/2 in tall, 31 lbs and is solid. Everyone thinks she is 3 because she is tall like me (I'm 5'9) It makes me feel better that other moms are in the same situation as me :) My 5 month old son is big for his age too...he is already 26 1/2 in long and 18 lbs!!

WOW! All these May babies seem to be big, glad to know I am not alone. My son turned 2 on May 2nd and weighs 30lbs. and is 37 inches tall. Someone asked me the other day if he was 4? He has always been big though, he weighed 9lbs. 9 oz. and was 22 inches long when he was born!

My son weighs 28 lbs and just turned 2... he is 32 inches tall. He is all muscle and not really a belly on him... just guessing he will be tall and skinner than average. His dad is 6' 2" and I am 5' 3".

My daughter will be 2 on the 30th May, im not sure how many pounds she is as we weigh in kg, she is 14kg and is 87cm tall aswell. I am pretty short but my husband is 6ft 2inch, she has taken after him! She has always been above average and is in proportion according to the midwives! Don't stress, so long as your son is healthy thats all that matters!! Naomi :o)
