My son (5/2) is getting to be a little too honest lately. He is potty trained and when we use the public bathrooms he will jabber away like always. Well, the other day we were in a public bathroom-my son was sitting on the toilet- and another woman was using the bathroom. All of a sudden my son started to cough and fake choke and said "Yuck Mama...stinky poo-poos! " really loud as he was holding his nose. Then he giggled and said "toot!" as she passed some gas. I was trying so hard not to laugh at him but at the same time to hush him. The other lady stayed in her stall until we left the bathroom.

You tried to hush him and I assume you told him it was not nice to say things like that because it can make other people sad. The lady in the next stall should understand that your child is young and not take it to heart.
