My little guy will go off at the drop of a hat - if he doesn't get what he wants, if he wants the toy some other baby is playing with, if you want to change his diaper, etc.

How do you all deal with this and what can I do to help him out of this awful habit? I'm hoping it's the terrible twos a bit early.

Thanks,

Suzanne

The diaper changing thing is easy... make it fun. babies throw tantrums when they're bored, or see something coming they dont like or are afraid of. With my 16 month old... changing his diaper.. i count with him.... step one, unbotton the onsies, step two take off left side, step 3 take off right side... make it fun.. make up a song.. youre the mommy you can act like a tool and your kid will love you for it :-)

When it comes to toys, dont let other kids play with your kids favorite toys.... keep them separated and let your child share when he or she is ready.
