At what age is it okay for babies to start eating fish?

Baby's should not eat fish before age 2. My pediatrician recomended starting with the simple fish like tuna, albacore, kids fav." fish sticks". These fish do not contain mercury or iodine which can cause severe reactions. shell fish are best left till past age 5 where they are more likely to handle the shell fish. Hope this helps.

They can eat any fish at a year old, as far as I know. But you do want to make sure they're not eating things that are really high in mercury, like swordfish, etc.

Depends on what kind of fish...lower mercury fish are fine, but you will want to hold off on the higher level ones till they are a little bit older. Same with shell fish...
