Hi all, i was wondering how big your babies are now they they will be 2 next month. I took my son to the dr. Monday and he weights in at whoppin 38 1/2 pounds. The dr said he is as big as a 3 year old, he is just solid as a rock. and wears a size 10 nike.dr. said he is heathly as a horse.

my daughter is 26mths, at 24mths was 12.6kg and 94cms or 27.7lbs and 37.6" she is extremely tall and wears size 3 and 4's in clothes and size 8 shoes not bad for a girl!

My daughter turned 2 on May 15. She was 28 lb and 33 in. at her checkup. She has always been bigger for her age (weighed 9lb 6 oz at birth) and is around 70th percentile for height and weight. She's got a huge belly!!!

My daughter was 23 pounds and 32 inches at her last doctor's appointment (May 25, 2 days after her birthday). I think she's gained an inch since then. Pretty good since she started off at 3.5 pounds and 16 inches!
She's still in 18 month clothes mainly, but usually wears 24 month shirts because her torso is long. She wears size 6 shoes. She's going to be a tiny adult like me, I think.

my Little girl was 2 may the 5th and she weights 33 lbs. she weighted 9lbs1oz when she was born..very healthy,but have had trouble withher weight. she has weighted 33 lbs since be fore christmas i think shes stuck there

My son is 36 inches, 32 pounds, and wears a 9...so not too far behinfd yours! He's always huge compared to kids his age though!

My May baby girl is 29lbs and 37.75in (that's the "official" measurement but I think she is perhaps 1/2" shorter than that- still, very very very tall).
She is always about 2 boxes above the highest pink curved line on the charts.

My daughter has not been weighed in awhile, but I'm pretty sure she's at least 30 pounds. She is very tall for her age and everyone thinks she's three going on four. She wears a size 5 shoe and is nearly outgrowing some of her 2T clothes!

Dylan is 29in and 36in tall. He's been 29 in for all of 2010 so far. I think he was just above average for his weight, and in the 75% for height. He's always been tall and thin.

I noticed a lot of our may babies are pretty tall!! My daughter is 27lbs and 36in. She eats healthy and prefers milk to juice and anything with cheese on it right now. She has so much energy and runs everywhere and I guessing thats why she is so lean, she doesn't give anything a chance to put weight on her, lol.

My daughter is 30lbs and 36in tall. Depending on the shoe between a size 6-8. My girl is so lean...she eats grains, fruits, and veggies. Can't get her to eat meat or anything with much fat. Very healthy though!

My son just turned 2 on the 13th. He weighs 31lbs and wears a size 8 shoe, and all 3T clothing (for length). He's just as tall as his 3yr old cousin.

My son is about 27.5 lbs and 33.5". His shoe size is 7. We mostly buy him size 3 clothing, but that's only because we want everything to last. He's just outgrown his 18-24 months clothes recently, so he'd fit most size 2 perfectly.

My son was 2 on the 2nd. He was 32lbs and 36.5" tall. He has to wear 3T long sleeved shirts for arm length but still in 24mos-2Tslim pants. He looks heavier that what he actually is. He is a very solid child!

My son turned 2 on the 8th and weighed in at 22.4#'s and 34". He was 7#3oz 18" at birth but fell off the charts after a few months. He has been on pediasure for a year now. He doesn't eat much and what he does he burns right off because he is a very active young man. Each child is their own person and there will always be some larger and some smaller than what the charts say is "Average/normal." As long as your child is healthy and developmentally on, if it me me I wouldn't worry.

My daughter is around 21 lbs. She is short and very slender just like her daddy. My almost 6 month old on the other hand is 17 lbs and just a chunk but she is happy and healthy!

No need to worry Sara, my son turned 2 last week Wednesday. He's about 18kg (39,7 pounds). Also healthy as a horse, just a big bone structure. He's quite tall - 93,3cm (36,7 in.). I'm already buying 3-4 and 4-5 years old clothing for him. Not overweight at all! Will put some pics of him on my profile so you can see. All the best!

My son's year apt in not untill the 18th so i have no clue but that lat time we were at the hosp he was only 27lbs but that also b/c he was sick. And my son will be 2 on the 28 of may.

My daughter Kiera will be 2 on May 31st and when I weighed her 7 wks ago when the health nurse came to see my son she weighed 29lbs and thats the same she weighed at her 18 month needles. I don't know how tall she is as I haven't had her measured since her 18 month needles and where I live they don't do 2 yr appointments and right now her doctor is in South Africa on holidays.

My daughter is around the 30 lb mark, over 36 inches tall now, wearing 6.5 size shoes and 3t and 4t clothing. Solid muscle! Her Daddy and I are both above average in terms of height. I cant wait to find out her exact stats.

My daughter is also small. Two on the 20th and weighs 22 lbs. It's a battle getting her to get full meals. She's a grazer and super hyper, so she burns off all the calories she eats. But she's very smart, one of the brightest in her preschool class. Does your doctor have your little one on a special diet? My daughter has been on pedisure for the last year, and I don't see her getting off of it anytime soon.

oh my god, my little daughter is the tiniest here....she will be 2 on 29th may and weighs only 20.5 lbs and 31 inches tall. she's not even on the graph anymore...but has the energy of a horse and can't stop talking...full five-word sentences...
she hates to eat though...hope she catches up with all the other kids soon.

My daughter's 2 year appointment isn't until the first week of June but she is 21 lbs and has always been on the small side (usually less than tenth percentile), and has always been deemed perfectly healthy and developmentally advanced.

My daughter is 36 pounds. She also wears a size 10 shoe size now and wears clothing for four year olds. she's not on the big size but I guess she's going to be tall, so that might be responsible for her shoe size.

My son turns 2 in less than two weeks and is about 41 pounds! He is a big, healthy boy and is off the charts for his height too. He also wears a size 10 shoe..sounds like we both just made some big boys!

My daughter will be 2 on may 16th and last time I weighed her she was 24lb, but has always been on the low end of the curve and when she was a baby she fell of the curve :O But she is a very active girl!

My son Reuben will be 2 on the 25th of may and he is 31 pounds and wears his 5 yr old brothers clothes, its hard because he i so big people expect him to be older and be understanding more.

My girl doesn't have her appt until next month, just after her bday, but here on our home scale she's about 28 lbs, not sure on her height but I'm a shortie and she's already 1/2 as tall as me!! Up to my hip!! I'm 5'2" so I guess that makes her almost 3'! :D She shocked the docs at her 2 month appt. when she exploded in both weight and height - she gained 4 lbs (making her around 12 lbs) and almost 4 inches, placing her in the 95th % in weight and off the charts in height. They said not to worry, she was proportionate, and healthy as can be. She remained in the 95th and up % in both height and weight until her 18 mo appt., and she finally slowed down a little bit - but she's still above average, in the 75% or so in height and weight. The good thing is, she was in 24 mo clothes last year, and I can use the same clothes this year too!! She just grew taller so she fits them a little better heightwise. :D

Lily will be 2 on the 9th of May, and is now about 25lbs. She still wears a lot of ther 12m size clothes, but is finally starting to grow out of them! She was petite right from the beginning, (must take after Daddy, he is 5'6", I am 5'11"!) It surprises me because her big sister takes after me (very tall!), and was wearing 3 and 4T clothes when she turned 2!!

my little girl emmie is 2 on the 22nd may,she weighs 29lb,but is only 80cm long she still fits in 12-18 month clothes,her dad is only 5ft 6,so maybe she is just going to be little at the moment she is just little and chubby!!!!

hi!! my daughter will be 2 on the 15th may and she weighs almost 2 stone 9 lbs so thats about 37 lbs and really doesnt look it at all . I mentioned it to our health nurse and she is not worried at all she is very tall for her age and often gets mistaken for much older than she is!! So she is happy and healthy and if the nurse is happy then so am i!!

Paula Pabla - Im so glad that someone actually agrees with what I said. I received quite a few negative feedback emails from what I wrote. I have 2 kids who are both perfectly healthy, and when we do go to the Dr's, the Dr is absolutely astounded with how healthy they are for kids who NEVER go to a Dr to get weighed and he knows that I don't do any of the check ups and things that are in the baby books that you are supposed to get filled in. Kids will be kids and they all grow differently. No need for weigh ins and measurings.
