You've got to set a schedule. I don't know if this is your first one, but a schedule will help as you add to your brood as well. Set mealtimes and naptimes, and everything else starts to work. Have a set bedtime routine at the same time that you do everyday, ie, bath, read, bedtime whatever. This will help alleviate some of the worse tantrum times (4p-on) later on for your little one as they know what's coming and know there's no way around it. I know it's tough to start routines especially with little ones because you might feel tied down all of the time, but I love the time I spend with my little guys. All of their smiles and hugs make up for the fact that I don't get to eat at my favorite restaurants all of the time, or can't stay out after 6p. Once you get your little one on a routine you'll see that you're life will feel a whole lot easier.

Regular actvivites around the same time. It doesnt mean you cant go out, etc, but try and have food time at the same time, sleep at the same time and then work around these important times to do other things. EG, we go out in the morning, but am a home for lunch then nap straight afterwards. If we are out, we still eat at the usual time (1130) and try and let her sleep in the car or be at home asap for nap.
