Hello Everyone My Son Havier is 2 1/2 yrs old and I'm trying to potty train him but nothing is working .. My uncle and his wife took my son for 5 days and attempted to potty train him but the thing is that the potty chair they were using made sounds and lights up the one i have dose not and when he come back home i tried to enforce the potty training by pulling down his pullup and sitting him on the potty every time i do that he tells me no and pulls up his pullup i dont know what else to do... moms could you give me some insight thanks so much

putting on underwear on him during the day will work. the poo will irritate him so that will encourage him to use the potty. my son used to scream the first days he didnt know wat poo was n it scared him that it came out of him

would it help to use the same potty that you uncle and aunt were using with him? could you borrow it or buy one just like it?

Dont know if it will help but I am training my son and he is doing great he did not want to go on the potty but I just put underwear on him no pullup and told him to go on potty I did lots of laundry for a couple days but he did start to get it ater about 2 days. I have hardwood floors so that helped. I also bought a bucket from the dollar store and put dollarstore prizes in it he gets to pick a prize each time he goes on the potty he loves it and I just add new things about once a week.

We tried the Pull-ups too, but my son used them just like diapers, so we finally ditched those and went right to underwear during the day. Be consistent and persistent. Sometimes it's just the switch to underwear that makes your child realize they need to go on the potty because being wet isn't a nice feeling. The problem with Pull-Ups is that they still shield your child from the wetness of an accident. Have you tried getting one of those seats for the toilet? If he won't use a non-musical potty, maybe your son will go on the toilet like a big boy. Good luck!
