You know, I have heard of the frozen waffle idea before!! I haven't tried it yet, though. Our little guy likes nibbling on cucumber, though. It stays nice and cool and I think the smell is comforting too....We just make sure to use the seedless kind and cut him pieces that are too large to put the whole thing in his mounth. (He only has his two bottom teeth so far....)

Ha ha! I had a friend recommend frozen waffles...YES...I said frozen waffles. I laughed too...but they work!! Daniel loves them. By the time they gum thru an actual piece of it, it's so soggy and mashed up that it slides down. Not that I wouldn't watch him gum it to death, but it's been a lifesaver!!

I have been putting ice cubes in those baby safe feeder nets... she has loved it and it is the only thing that will give her instant relief. Hope that helps!

My son wouldn't chew on anything - I think he preferred to suffer.  Anyway, my daughter gets the teething tablets to help her with the pain, but she is definitely a chewer!  I don't use any of the refrigerated or frozen stuff though.  I have a raspberry teether that looks kind of like a paci (she loves this) and she also has Sophie the giraffe which really seems to help her. I think you can get them on Amazon. There is also a vibrating teether that looks like grapes at Wal Mart that she likes a lot - but it is a bit heavy. Hope some of this helps!

Hi again Jamie - my daughter was never too big on the teething toys but she liked to suck on an ice cube that I wrapped in a small cloth - a bit messy but seemed to help. As far as pain relief, I started with baby tylenol but have switched to baby motrin on the advice of several moms that tell me it lasts longer (according to the pkg that's true but I have yet to use it) Good luck - mine just got her top 2 and now has 4.

I have been using the teething tablets and tylenol. But teething toys that go in the fridge are all to big and she will not use them. I guess just ideas taht she can chew on.
