i think it is great. i am working full time and my daughter has been in daycare since she was 6 weeks old. she loves going to school as we call it. she knows all of her friends names and all of the teachers names too. in her class and the twos class. they play and read books and color. she learns a lot from the teachers and from the other kids.

I wish they had a program like this around where I live. I think it would be a great way for my son to learn to socialize with other kids his age as he is a social little guy!! Only thing we have around me are day care centers that do some pre-school type stuff, but then they want you to go full time. Plus the better ones are still about 45min away.

I think so. The preschool we're looking at has a half-day a week program for 2 year olds, and I think it's a great idea. This gives them a transition time, plus that way mommy can get used to it too!!
