Darius turned one on the 5th. He took his first steps April 23 the same day as my youngest brothers birthday. Walked right past me, he started in the kitchen into the living room. He loved the applause he recieved. Now he is running around, and loves to climb.

My daughter turns one next week and is walking holding on to our fingers, or pushing a walker toy, but doesn't seem to have the confidence more than anything to let go while moving (she will stand on her own for a few seconds until she realizes!).
my son is doing this at 15 months. no sign of walking yet and im starting to get concerned.
Same as my girl! She is 15 months this coming week and loves walking around behind her wee dolls pushchair but refuses to stand alone. Shes fine holding onto someone. Am starting to get a bit worried as well..
Ladies do not be too concerned. I was aswell, but I am certain that any day now they will take off and instead of being wobbley for a couple of weeks they will be experts from the get go. My daughter just started running. Your babies have been practicing but just being careful. My daughter was holding onto everything and was happy to let go only when on our bed. She wasn't scared of falling where it is soft. However, the timber floor, tiles, concrete, or ground were a different story. Your little ones are doing fine. They are probably just a little bit smarted than the average bear. ;-) You'll see.

Georgia stood up for the first time at 6 months but didn't start letting go to walk until 14 months. I think our house is just too small. She could easily walk around the house without having to let go of anything. With no big open spaces she just didn't need to bother. I went to get the car serviced on the day she turned 14 months and she picked up a filthy cuddle toy and went for a walk with it. At least 20 steps. She must have been practicing while I had my back turned. Clever little chook.

Our little guy started walking toward the end of his 13 month and at 14.5 months is toddling around (no running yet). Crawling was faster so I don't think he was in as much of a rush to walk.
We always had him barefoot in the house so he could grip when he started walking

My little man born 20th May is just starting to take off on his own. Prefares crawling. His brother was excatly the same- started at a similar age. As long as they are on their feet by 18 months there should be no concern.

Emilie still hasn't walked on her own yet. She was born May 10th....She over 32 inches tall so I figure that may be it...Any other tall babies not walking yet?
Graciella turned one may 28th and is 34inches shes off the charts in height and 100 % in weight, she is just cruising and pushes her push walk toys but wont do it on her own,,,my doctor says it's due to her height/weight, no biggie? she is a talker however lol, I cant tell you how many convos she trys to have ALL DAY LONG, lol...

My son (Trace) is almost 15 months and still not really walking independently. He will stand for a bit on his own, but all walking is done holding on to a table or wall. He loves to crawl though :)

No my lil guy is not walking ye he is 14 monthst. He has started this walking on his knees. He will walk if you hold his hand and walk with walker toys but he just does not wanna walk! I dont mind cause he is my 2nd and they seem more like babies when they just crawl :) My oldest son walked when he was 10 months though. All babies are different!

Both my girls started walking at 11 months. I know a friend of mine her children all started walking after the age of one, one of them 19 months I wouldn't worry if your child isn't walking. They are all around the same stage at the age of 2.
