We talk about all the tantrums our 2 year olds are having...how about what they do to make us smile and forget about all the tantrums...
This afternoon my son woke from his nap and asked for a treat. When I asked him what he wanted for a treat he said "Mommy" and gave me a hug.

Tracey, I have actually done that with my son too. Or he will hit me and I will pretend to cry and he will stop and give me a hug and say "Appy (happy)...I saw-we (sorry)". Amazing isn't it? :)

OHHH how cute, Brooke my 2yo was screaming down the house i threw my hands up and threw myself on the couch covering my face and she stopped screaming through concern of me and tried to pry my hands away from my face and say's I yub ya (I Love Ya). Magic

My daughter will grab my hand, even when I'm on the potty, and start dancing. No music, no noise, just her shimmying around in a small circle moving her feet just as fast as she can. She also likes hugs, talking and singing along with Shrek, and when she's feeling really good, she'll give a kiss on the lips. It's so sweet!
Then she'll start ranting and raving in her two-year-old gibberish and give her grama and pawpaw whatfor. That is the funniest cuz her grama looks like she's getting scolded.
