We are trying to ween my 15 month old off of baby food too, but I still give it to her because I don't think she is getting enough to eat of regular people food. She only has 4 teeth 2 up 2 down so I am really careful with what people food I do give her. She loves bananas so she eats a lot of them, the Gerber Graduates Puffs are really easy for her to handle too, they melt in the mouth. We just started on crackers but in small pieces and have tried small pieces of chicken.

My son is 15 months also and he didn't like baby food at all not even the baby fruit. And he only have 6 teeth!!!!!!. so don't worry all baby have their own way of getting over things and getting into new things it just takes time.

my daughter eats regular food but we do give her the graduate toddler food from gerber. she really loves the ravioli bc she can pick them up and just squish them in her mouth. she only has 8 teeth but she still eats really well.

my son joshua was late getting his teeth but he was eatting every thing by seven months. the heath nurse told me that teeth or not they can still chew every thing as the gums are just as good as teeth if i was you i'd give him the normal family meals and if he gets tired or is still hungery just top him up with mashed food.

My daughter doesn't like baby food & hasn't since she was 12 months old. She loves feeding herself & being independent. We tried her out on softer foods first & gradually worked our way up to harder foods. She has 8 teeth (4 on top & 4 on bottom) and has never really had a problem with mashing food even before she had teeth. Make sure he is getting all of the nutrients that he needs throughout the day. Gradually, he will graduate to "adult" food & baby food will be a thing of the past =]

well my son didnt like baby food alot.. and i started giving him reglar food when he was 6 months old.. but little bit like rice and soft foods.. but by 12 months i got him off baby food..i suggest for you to give him soft food at first so he doesnt have that much to chew if that is the case.. like give him mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, try to give him fruits.

My son is 15 months and only has 6.5 teeth (the 7th is only part way up). We feed him a combination of jarred baby food (Heinz Toddler) and adult food cut up in small pieces. He loves peas, cheese, noodles, chunks of meat, hamburger. If he can pick it up to feed himself, he enjoys it, but he does have lazy days when we feed him from our forks or spoons.



He still throws food on the floor when he's bored of eating or full. Daddy is more consistent at stopping the meal when he does that than I am. I know he's still hungry, just doesn't want to feed himself anymore.

My daughter is 15 months too and only eats real food now she will eat the 12 month baby food when she is sick or teething guess cause its a bit softer. Have you tried cutting stuff up small and letting him pick it up and feed himself thats what I do with mine. I give her pasta and cheese and chicken or beef and she likes to pick it up and put it in her mouth herself, she doesn't use utensils yet as she just makes a mess.

My daughter is 15 months. She will only eat fruit and veggies that are stage 2. She won't touch anything that is slimy. Even if she doesn't touch it, and I just put it in her mouth, she spits it out, but she'll eat the Gerber. My daughter will only eat "real" meat. She won't eat the jars. When I went to my Ped. to ask about her, the Ped. said that she'll eat it when she's ready. Just like adjusting from a bottle to a sippie... they'll do it when they're ready.

my 15 month old has no teeth yet, his Dr isnt too worried, and i just cook finley diced veggies and mince chicken/lamb/beef or crumbly de-boned fish

my son has the same amont of teeth and they are in the same places as your sons he is also 15 months....i guess you could give him baby food for as long as you want but i wouldnt buy it any more just use can vegies and mash them up.....you could also talk to your doc about it....but i dont think its a problem to be honest but i could be wrong!!!!!
