yes it is true and it can also cause diarrea the best thing to use to clear it is johnsons naturals i found it remarkable for my little girl, one bit of advice never use baby lotion because it will sting to the heavens

I heard that, however we didn't see that with our son. He's 19 months and only had a few diaper rashes, most of the time when he's not teething. I"m sure it also depends on the child too. If you notice a pattern of diaper rashes that just use stuff to prevent it, not sure what as we never had that issue.

I found that with my 18mth old girl that she would get bad nappy rash when she was teething and it would clear up when her tooth came through. Not every child responds this way though, some teeth with no problems, some get temperatures. It all depends on the child. My advice is keep an eye on him/her and as soon as there is any signs of teething start putting cream/powder on their bum so the rash cant occur.
