Oliver is crawling backwards, scoots on his bum, and tries to pull him self up on things, no success with that yet though. He says dada, ssssssss for his sister Sydney, up,

and hello. He waves for saying hi but not for good bye. He can sit up from a liyng down position, roll everwhere, still cant figure out the crawling forward thing.

He has 10 teeth 6 up top 4 on the bottom. He has 3 big sisters who love to bring everything to him, so hes a bit of a lazy guy.

He eats the 6 month baby foods and 8 month, for table foods he loves bagels, avacadoes, lasagna, cottage cheese, yogurt,crackers, baby cookies, cheese,

lentils. He nursed up to 2 weeks ago in which we had more than 1 pretty bad biting

incidents, probably due to teething, anyways Im now pumping 6-7 times a day to keep up with him. I get 10 ounces every morning, and in between 5-6 each pumping session.

He sleeps from 8pm till 3am, eats then goes down till 7:30am, he naps once during the day from 12:30- 2:30 .

Scarlet was born on May 13th and seems to be doing something new everyday!  She is a pro at sitting, crawling and pulling up.  She sort of cruises but actually prefers to "walk" with a push toy/walker - it's still novel for her so she's loving it and using the walker all the time.  She just started pushing away soft food and prefers to eat things she can pick up - again, it is a new skill so it's much more fun than eating from mama's spoon!  Scarlet LOVES to dance and she will bounce up and down to music she likes or will wave her arms if she's sitting - her sense of rhythm is surprising!  She loves to throw things - much to our chagrin - at this point.  One of my absolute favorite things is the fact that she gives these wet, open mouthed kisses and hugs now.  It's a special occassion when she does it - it isn't all the time, but she will give you a big grin and lay one right on your nose.  So nice when I come home from work!  She is clapping and waving bye bye but just by opening and closing her hand - pretty funny.  She babbles a ton and says baba, dada and mama but I'm pretty sure she doesn't make the connection between the sounds and the meaning yet.  She has just started to catch-on to Uh-oh and loves to imitate us when we say it.    She has absolutely no teeth yet and gums everything in site.  We had a rough time with sleep between 3 and 7 months - she slept 12 hours for the first time on Christmas Eve and it has been wonderful until just recently when she hit another growth spurt.  Hopefully we'll get back on track!!  She loves seeing other kids and "growls" at her buddies in day care... they will stand across from each other, holding onto a bench, and just growl at each other and laugh. 

No sippy cup yet, but she loves drinking from a straw and tries to drink from a regular glass.

It's been a while since she was weighed but at 7.5 months she was only 14.5 lbs and 27 inches.  75% for height and 10% for weight.  That's been her MO since her 2 month check up so the doc says she's fine!

Micah is sitting well, pulling himself to stand, and sit and stand and sit and stand (his favorite game!).  He can stand unassisted for a few seconds at a time and tries to "walk" holding on to the table or our hands.  He babbles "babababa" and says "dada" and "mama" (I about cried!).  He squeals and grunts when he wants something.  He won't crawl in front of us, but I caught him crawling in his crib this morning and he will crawl backwards and then gets frustrated!  He has 7 teeth with one on the way and puts EVERYTHING in his mouth!  He loves peekaboo and blocks and playing with plastic colored balls.  He was 23 lbs and 27inches at the last check up, but he has another one coming up in a week. Your baby is too cute!  Love the pic!

mine is sitting, crawling, waving, standing, and taking a few steps. she has eight teeth. she babbles all the time. she plays peek aboo. she can read clap, wave, and hi.  she eats real food. she drinks from a sippy cup. she loves to dance. she gives kisses. she is laughing all the time. sleeps through the night. never cries. crawls to me and kind of whines pulling my leg when she has pooped and wants to be changed. she loves to give hugs and play with other kids. she extremely social.  weighs 20 lbs and 30 inches long.

Peyton born May 20, is sitting, waving standing with assistance, army crawling and crawling, high fives, says mama, dada, numnum & nana. I breastfed for 5months. She sips from a sippy cup but still drinks from a bottle. We're in that transistion right now. She's been in Stage 3 foods for awhile now. She smacks her lips and makes this cute little scrunchie face. She has 2 teeth and feels like the top two in front and 2 in back pushing in. Not sure her stats ... her 9month appt. is March 5. Peyton likes to shake her booty and nod her head to music. She claps when you say "cakes and pie" She's very expressive in her face and is a very happy baby! I luv her so much, my lil Pey pey.

Sitting, waving, standing on his own briefly, crawling, eating small pieces of food (whatever we are eating we just cut up for him), and trying very hard to walk (babysitter say he will succeed soon). He has no teeth. He drinks a little from a sippy cup, but only with help. He loves to pull a piece of cloth over his head and then pull it off for peek-a-boo games. He doesn't have any words yet.

apart from drving me mad lol my carla is now crawling and getting into everything she also says da da da alot! and has had 4 teeth come thru at once so many sleepless nights shes also very co ordinated and for ever stealing her big brothers toys - i forgot how quick they egt their personalities and am very surprised at her assertiveness where my son is more laid back carla has to be in the spotlight and has a foul temper!!

Kailey is almost walking..most steps so far is 9 in a row! She can climb stairs with ease and does a one foot half crawl half walk to get around. She  claps and says 'yay', she says 'dada' and 'kiki' (kitty) and 'duckie' and finally started saying 'mama' to me. She drinks from a sippy cup with about 3 bottles a day. Introduced milk today at doctors request! She weighs 20 lbs and is pretty long but I don't remember how much so.  So far we only have 2 teeth but thats okay considering she uses those two to bite both of us and the poor cat lol. She sleeps pretty well at night, sometimes she'll wake up around 2 but will play in her crib till she falls back to sleep.  We're currently working on waving bye bye and sign language like 'more', 'eat', and 'milk' but at the rate she's learning to talk at she'll prolly talk before signing. Thats okay though. Works for us!

Our daughter was born May 22.  She is a little girl, just under 16 lbs, but she is a noodle..not sure how long she is.  She is breastfed, but is also eating all kids of veggies, fruit and now meats in addition to cereal.  She rolls and"swims" but doesn't crawl, sits, loves to stand at the coffee table and will walk as long as you help her.  She is starting to wave and I am starting to teach her to blow kisses.  She shakes her head no, and says "mamama" and "baba" and babbles like crazy.  My husband is working on dada, but hasn't been successful yet.  She is really active, and is persistant when she sees something she wants!  When she laughs, it makes me laugh til I have tears...you all know what I mean!  She has one tooth.

My daughter Alexis was born May 29,2008 at 10lbs 3 oz.  She now weights  21.4 lbs and is 29 inches long.  She has no teeth yet and is still breastfed.  She eats stage 2 babyfood sometimes but if we are eating she will only eat what were having.  she eats lots of biter biscuits and puffs.  She rolls everywhere but no crawling and only stands up for 2 seconds and doesnt pull herslef up yet.  She can sit by herself, and says dada mama babba and other various noises.  she laughs like crazy and is very smart.  She loves phones and remotes more then any toy and when she was being held, she tried to reach the remote and when she couldn't she grabbed her daddys hand and moved it towards the remote so he could reach it!

Mine is crawling everywhere, its amazing how fast she can move. She has just started pulling herself up if you are on the floor with her. She will eat almost anything put in front of her, her favourite is peppers - red, green or yellow and rice crackers. She has two teeth and thinks that anything withn her reach is for eating. She weighs 20lb 6oz, not sure how long she is. She isn't talking yet but is making lots of noises some which make my teeth itch!!! Her giggle when playing with daddy or grandad especially is fantastic. Its very contagious :-)

Mine is sitting,crawling,pulling up,standing and walking(in her cot).She babbles,calls 'mumma' ,'papa' and 'dada'.She still has no teeth so no finger foods.She puts everything in her mouth.She dances to music.Gets up 3-4 times at night.Weighs 6.5kgs and is 63cms.

Mine is walking, crawling, sitting, eating finger foods. He drinks from a sippy cup, says a few words like..Daddy, night night, and mama. He only has his two bottom front teeth so far but teething like crazy. He sleeps 12 hours, naps about an hour before lunch. He just turned 9 months and he weighs 19lbs 5 ozs and is 28.5cm long.

My little girl was born on May the 1st. She can sit very well (started at 7 months) she has just started to crawl in the last month but was pulling and standing long before that. She has also just started to climb. Would love for someone to explain what the stages of food is? I make her food myself and have stopped wizzing it up and just roughly mushing it or she will eat a banana herself or eat a peice of steak. She will go crazy for milk arrowroot biscuits. She has 5 teeth and another about to cut through. She is just starting to bite me so I think I might give up breast feeding soon. She can drink from a sippy cup but would rather drink from an open cup or mug (tought her to drink from a glass at 4 months). She can wave bye-bye and is very good at kicking her legs and splashing while we swim. She knows her name really well and when called from anywhere she crawls to find us.

Goodness, Cali was 5/14. She is over 22, we have her doctors appointment on monday but she was 22.4 last month. She army crawls everywhere even though she knows how to crawl on hands and knees. She will pull her self up on everything and walk around holding onto anything but refuses to take a step unless she is holding onto both of your hands or the couch/furniture. She eats stage 3 food with bread, shredded cheese, veges, and LOVES graduates puffs and gram cracker, she will basically eat anything we put in front of her. sleeps from 8:30ish to about 8am. babbles and says daddy or da-da-da, gives kisses, and roars when you say 'cali, what does a lion say' and makes a quacking noise when you ask her what a ducky says. She only has two teeth and doesn't seem like any more are on their way. If she can't get what she wants she throws herself on the ground and screams. I can't help but laugh at this. We recently put her on a routine (she made her own until about 3 weeks ago) and is now a much happier baby.
Its fun to see how all the other babies her age are doing!!!!

wow it sounds like my little boy is behind! he rolls around, sings dada, sits up but wont crawl and nowhere near attempts to pull himself up onto furniture. he is more than happy for us to do things for him!! he has 4 teeth with others on the way because ive had a week of bad nights. he is asleep by 6.30pm every night and if its any later he goes into old man mode and wants his pjs on!!! he sleeps until 7 am when he isnt teething and is a very happy little boy! judging by other children mentioned he should be doing alot more but im not worried just YET!!

Ian was born May 29th. He has been crawling since 5 1/2 months and pulled himself up to a stand at 7 1/2 months. He is not cruising yet, but is working on it. He only drinks 10-15 oz milk a day, but eats 4 meals of 6-8 oz bowl of food. I mix all kinds of stuff together, mostly homemade--Fruit, veggie, meat, yogurt, cereal. He takes finger foods like cereal, cheese, graham crackers, rice cakes. We are working on clapping and other things like that, but he doesn't do much as of right now. He does like peek-a-boo and will uncover his face when we ask "where's Ian?" He laughs when we say "There he is." He has taken really well to a bedtime routine. He has always been a good sleeper and sleeps 10 hours/night. He started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks, as soon as his tummy got full enough before bed. He weaned himself from breastfeeding at 5 months, which broke my heart. I didn't have much of a supply, so I wasn't able to keep up anyway, but sad nonetheless. At 8 months he only weighed 16 lb 6 oz (>5th percentile) but is almost 29 inches long (75th percentile). I guess that is ok since he is so active. He is my tall, skinny boy. He has had a little separation anxiety for the last few months. He has 2 teeth with 2 more breaking through any day now. He gives love several ways...he bonks us with his head or will give "kisses" by putting his open, sloberly mouth against our face. He can be quite fussy when he doesn't get what he wants, so he'll be a challange to discipline. He is quite independent and strong-willed, but I love him so much.

Let's see...she's crawling, standing and pulling herself around the furniture and all over us! Lots of baby babbling, laughing and squealing. We haven't got her to wave yet, though we've tried. Loves banging toys together and making noise. Starting to understand the word 'no'. She has 8 teeth already...eats some chunky foods but still prefers it pureed. Lily never liked being on her tummy either, but all the sudden the crawling just happened. As for night time, I still only get 5 hours sleep before she wakes, *sigh* one day we'll get a full night's sleep.... Biggest change this month was being shy with other people, she won't let me out of her sight!

Oliver is very end of may, born on 31st . . He is a very big boy about 25 lbs... i breastfed him for 4 months but he is now on formula from a cup and stage 2 food.. he is sitting and just started crawling .. if you hold his hands he can walk and jump about!! he waves and says baba bum and mama (but only when he cries!) no teeth yet and he gives me kisses and sometimes waves. He is about 75 cm

Mine is sitting, waving, dancing, crawling (very fast..), getting into EVERYTHING, standing and walking while holding onto things such as the table. He's the same with the finger foods, stage 2 food, and the sippy cup :) He also has 6 teeth and is teething yet again so I'm guessing he'll have another 2 on the bottom in no time! He babbles alot.. LOVES the sound of his own voice, says mamama and laughs a ton! Geez.. they grow too fast! Oh.. and he weighs about 20-21 lbs.

My Erin is only just a May baby, being born on 29 May 08.  she is crawling madly all over the place and will stand for a little.  I think her legs are not strong enough to support her rather considerable weight - she is 24lbs!  she was born big though and has been a mostly formula baby (no breast milk despite best attempts).  she says dada lots and is very noisy.  she loves to laugh out loud and sings just as she's going to sleep.  it's very cute. 

she's been on solids since 6 months, just introducing proteins now and moving onto the stage 3 foods (lumps).  she has a few finger foods, but still no teeth despite months of teeething and drooling.  we expect them daily.

she drinks from sippy cup when in the mood or very thirsty, but prefers the bottle.  won't hold her own bottle for more than a minute or 2 - too many other things to be doing with her hands!  she is a very busy little bee, never restful or quiet! 

she loves bathtime and splashes around like mad.  she goes very quiet around strangers - is a different child entirely! sometimes we have to show photos to prove that she does smile and laugh!

she used to sleep through, but a month of flu and teething has messed up the routine. just starting to get back into it, but she seems very hungry at the moment and we're doing at least 1 night feed.

we feel very lucky to have such a sweet little girl.

My daugher was born May 11, Mother's Day!  She is a sitting, rolling, standing, babbling, waving, clapping happy baby.  She eats stage 2 & 3 baby food and is breastfed.  The problem we are having is that she is allergic to many things; gluten, wheat, rye, barley, eggs, peanuts and milk.  Needless to say, this has made it very difficult.  Especially to do finger foods.  I have tried different things, but she likes to gag alot.  (She takes after her mother!)  However, despite her allergies, she is 20lbs.  I don't know how long she is...we go Wedenesday for her 9mos. check-up. Oh and she has NO teeth, but they are coming.

My Madelyn is crawling, cruising on furniture, and standing for a few seconds on her own. I am guessing she'll walk before a year maybe. She only babbles but hasn't said any words really. No teeth yet. She loves all foods (not sure what stages as I make my own food for her) and has started finger foods (carrots, broccoli, waffles, crackers, beans, fruit etc.) She loves water from her sipy cup, she'll drink ounces and ounces! She has a great laugh. She's 22 lb. Unfortunately she went from sleeping a straight 11 hours to waking and crying a lot during the night, only wanting to be held and rocked...

My daughter Grace was born May 20th she is sitting on her own, rolling (attempts to crawl but then just rolls), I think she is just going to roll then walk.  According to my monther that is what I did :o)  SHe has no teeth, but I think she is about to get one, she eats stage 2 foods and loves Gerber puffs and biter biscuts, however we only give her those on bath days because she makes a terrible mess!  She chatters all the time and also loves to make grunting noises :o)  She laughs all the time and makes the best faces, her favorite are scrunchie face and fish face.  She also claps, waves and loves to bounce.  Luckly she has been a great sleeper, hopefully that continues!

Sara also drinks from a rubbermaid container (don't know what to call them, they come in different shapes and sizes and with a straw) she has two sippy cups but isn't fond of leaning back to drink out of them especially when on the go.

Sara just started crawling on Saturday so she is wanting to be on the ground more than being in her walker. Her fourth tooth is coming in and we are over the worst with its presence. She babbles alot and loves to say 'bah bah'. We just finished her first set of swimming lessons which she did well in. Last time I weighed her (Feb. 3) she was 15.9lbs, which is good b/c her peditrician said if she hadn't reached the 15lb mark by 9 months he was considering testing for CF. Sara loves her solid food and even though I make it myself my blender makes it too pureeish so I'm going to try my food processor again and see what results I get. I think that puts us up to date...

William was born May 13.  He is sitting up, crawling and walking on his own.  He has no teeth still but loves regular food instead of baby food.  He drinks from a sippy cup, but when he is eating he like to drink from a big boy cup.  He has just started using his own spoon.  He says mama and dada and talks non stop.  He loves to squeal these days.  He also kisses himself in a mirror or if you put a picture of himself down on his level.

They are all growing so fast!!! Elylah was born May 20, and is eating everything...I make my own, so she will eat almost everythign we do....she loves corn puffs and finger foods!

She crawls, she's almost crawling up the stairs...very scarry! She pulls herself up and stands, and walks along the couch...she will also walk with you when you hold her hands!

She says MAMA!! and thats it! Only cause she loves me the most!! She can clap...and wave!

Only 2 teeth, but they sure are sharp!! She's our poker face baby! So you won't catch her laughing or smiling too often, but she sure is a content baby@!!

james is sitting standing and trying to walk has worked out how to get from standing to sitting without just letting go. he's nearly clapping he's waving babbling he can do dada muma and baba with the odd different sounds every now and then.eating everything and drinking everything he can. 6 teeth doesn't giggle much but when he does it's so dirty and is a typical bloke when he hears or see's the pussycat dolls gets over excited and starts shouting and dancing. smiles lots and growls even more lol

My son, Chase, is army crawling everywhere, eating lumpy foods, banana chunks, Cheerios. He does not feed himself yet tho. He "pets" the kitty cat, will sit if helped into the position, can pull himself up easily,  "sing" (he likes to make his voice go high and low and continuous without taking breaths!). Says da-da and ma-ma. Drinks from sippy cups (though he can't hold it up himself). No teeth. Weighs 19lbs 14oz and is 29-1/2 inches tall.

isnt it interesting how the babies are growing in different areas? some babies are almost walking but may not be talking and others are not crawling but are starting to sign!!!! (thats amazing) I find it so fascinating!!

my daughter is crawling babbling waving and standing, but she is not on a particular stage of babyfood, we just mash and blend our own organic produce. no meat or anything. She still nurses very often but I am still on Maternity leave and will be until just before she is a year so it all works out

mine is sitting, crawling, pulling himself up to stand. says mama, dada, nana, baba, and i swear he's trying to say doggy!! he will not drink out of the sippy yet- wants nothing to do with it in fact. but that's ok we have time to work on that. he is just finally this week sleeping through the night ( knock on wood!! lol) i hope it lasts. he's eating solid foods already, rice rusks, fruit puffs, crackers, bananas, mac and cheese etc. he prefers his tummy so he crawled rather early i thought. he's got 4 teeth but is drooling like a faucet so i think more are on the way! he weighs about 23 lbs!! but he weighed over 9 at birth so he's right where he should be there. when he's doing something he shouldn't be he has a woody wood pecker laugh!! haha!!

My little one is sitting, crawling forward and back (Moving frim a sit to a crawl as well), standing almost on her own, eating three meals a day and will be off the formula in about 2 months. I had to put her on Isomil instead of breastfeeding because we got a lot of hints that she's lactose intolerant. But, on the plus side, it makde her sleep her nights. Everyday, she eats breakfast at 9am and goes to bed by 8pm. She is a huge talker.. already aware that saying mom and dad will get our attention. Kaiden has 3 full teeth in and 3 more poking through...but she never fusses about it. She just turned 9 months old.. weighing almost 19lbs and 26.5 inches long =-)

im stuggling with my daughter at the moment as she was premature shes a little bit behind, she waves and rolls around but at the moment thats it. her sleep pattern is great as she goes to bed at 7 and dont get up till 9 the nxt day then she has 2 afternoon naps , she has just started teething and constantly grolws at people !!!

My baby girl, born may 1st, is sitting, crawling, saying daddy, and baba. She claps when you tell her to and when you sing patty cake. She also will wave bye bye when you say it and dances to any music, by shaking her head around and throwing her arms everywhere. She hold her own sippy cup, and eats stage two baby food, as well as table food. I give her steamed vaggies, squash, sweet potatoes, rice, cereal, and I just started to give her the graguates finger foods. She is also standing on her won with no support for about 2-3 seconds before she plops on her but and pulls herself up onto everything. She will copy off of us when we click our tonugue or when we lay our head down on her should and say "awww" its the cutest thing. When I brought her to her 9 month check up yesterday the doctor did say she was pretty advanced for her age. Which can be a good and bad thing, she keeps us on our toes. She now wieghs 19 lbs. 11 oz. and is 28 in.!!! She has 4 teeth, and I know alot more are on there way, she has been pretty fussy, and has a terribloe runny nose.

Mine is sitting, waving, standing, pulling up and scooting backwards on her tummy. She hasn't gotten the forward motion of her hands required to scoot forward. She is breastfed and still gets my milk from a bottle while I'm at work. We supplement with formula because my milk production is down from stress at work. She bables and sings and has a vocabulary of 5 or 6 words. She put 2 words together "hi dad" for the first time last week. She only has 2 teeth, and though she likes to chew on our fingers and anything else she can put in her mouth she doesn't show signs of more teeth coming real soon. I think this is why she doesn't have any interest in solid foods. She's 21lbs and 28.5 inches.
