When did you get your first PP period?

i got mine when my son was 5 months and i just started intrducing other things besides breastfeeding.he is nine months now But i have only had one every other month.

I got mine early this time... but I also stopped nursing earlier too.

Baby #3 nursed till 6 months - pp @ 8 mos

Baby #2 nursed till 1 yr - pp @ 16/17 mos

Baby #1 nursed till 2 yrs - pp @ 2 1/2 YEARS!!!

I started mine ten days before my baby turned six months old. With my first baby I also started my PP period when she was six months. I was still breastfeeding both of them when I started, but had started cereal also.

I just got mine yesterday as well!! exactly one month after i stopped pumping! and my little man is almost 8 months. i almost forgot how painful cramps can be:(

I have twins and breatsfeed only and still haven't gotten it back.....and don't want to.  With my 3 other kids I got it back between 4-5 months and I breastfed them aswell.

Still haven't had one. I am breastfeeding and on birth control (Nora-Be). It's weird - the first few months I worried that maybe I was pregnant again, but now I have just accepted it.

Wow this is comforting. I stopped breastfeeding my son at 6 wks.. he's 8 months old now and I STILL haven't had a period. I just made any appointment to go to the doctor because I thought something was wrong with me! Any input on why this happens...

I stopped nursing in October 08 and got mine in December 08.

I may be horrible but I so enjoy not having a period that after my second period I got on the depo shot and hope to avoid periods all together while still not getting pregnant again.

Oh my goodness! Wow, good for you though! It is tough now i am sure, but it will be good when they are older to be so close.

I don't know if this is your first child or not, but if you are still breastfeeding, but your period takes a while to become regular. So, although you got your period now, it may not happen again when you think it should - the breastfeeding horomone surpresses your fertility.

This is my second child. I had one period 6 months after my first baby was born and found out I was pregnant the next month. So, this is only my second period since March of 2006. I don't plan on doing that again ; )

Eliza was done breastfeeding in the middle of September, and I think it was November before I had my period.

I got mine when my daughter was 4 months old.  I felt kinda rippped off, since all my friends had theirs after 10 months+.  Oh, well.
