Year and a half updates...what are they doing now!!!

My daughter Autumn was born May 5th 2008. she is so smart. she has been showing some signs of potty training and tells us she wants to potty sometimes but only when she has to go poop. not really when she goes pee. she is saying all kinds of things. like mommy, daddy, cup, puppy, duck, her abc's all the way to G, her numbers to 7, our friends dogs names mitzie and honey. all the kids names in her class and the 2's class and the teachers names, go, stop, school, apple, mena(bannanas), grapes, fish and even some short sentences. like where's daddy, i love you daddy, where are we going., what are you doing. and some others. she loves almost everything that i have given her she is deffinatly not picky. she loves to sing and dance and even has done some karaoke at a family gathering. it was just yelling into the mike but it was so totally cute. after she had a mike that didnt work and was singing twinkle twinkle little star over and over. she loves the kitchen that her grandma gave her. oh and she says buzz lightyear to the rescue, and papa. she loves her papa. last time she was weighed she was 22lbs and 32 inches long. she is running and walking all over the place and she is deffinaly fearless jumping all over the place especially off of things and jumping on the couch and her bed. she loves to say no and hardly ever says yes. and she has gotten good at throwing tantrums if she doesnt get her way. she is deffinatly happy most of the time and loves going outside and taking our new puppy for a walk. she says puppy walk and grabs your finger.

My daughter Jewel was born May 06 and gets into everything. She loves doing everything shes not supposed to, can say about 20 words but babbles on to anyone.... throws tantrums anywhere (especially when we're shopping). She weighs 17kgs and eats whenever anyone around her is eating. Loves playing dolls (loves using her little brother as a doll), shes really loud, loves outdoors and swimming, is starting to use the big toilet (went straight passed the potty) and says hello to anyone.
She knows shes 'Daddys Girl"
Love her to bits. She just left for her first plane trip tonight with her nana so i cant wait to hear all about her experience.

My son Zeke was born May 26, 2008. He has been walking since about 10 months and is climbing on everything. He loves to dance, throw things and ask questions. He has been using a sippy cup since his first birthday. I threw out all the bottles shortly after that. He loves Thomas the Tank engine, Cars and Toy Story. He is constantly asking 'whats that?' or saying 'hi mommy, love you'...He loves to talk to daddy who is currently deployed so we see him on web cam. He will sit down in front of the camera and tell daddy all about his day and his big sister. I plan to start working on potty training him as soon as I get my 2 year old potty trained completely.

Adriana was born may 20th,2008 she was 6lbs 7oz 19ins at birth now she is 26lbs and 33inchs tall. she is also a great runner, walker, talker she can say so many words now she is a very out going well behived 19 month old she started walking at 9 months. Right now we are working on her potty trainning she is doing good she will go to the potty but she wont do number 2 in the potty just yet..

Mia was born on May 28th and is now about 22 lbs running everywhere jumping off things like others no fear loves doing summersalts and would live out side if i let her. She is a girl of few words but im not worried it has really picked up in the las two months and she can still get her point acrose. we are curently slowly moving into a single bed, As for potty training im not even going to try as im expecting my second baby in a couple months so im not pushing it till a while after she gets settled with it being around. Its just scary how fast they grow.

My son was born on May 21st and is currently 24.5lbs and 32 inches tall. He is quite the little chatterbox and is already beginning to make sentences, This morning he said " I want water in cup" and uses his name in most of his sentences. He's a very fussy eater but loves to read books and colour. He knows how to count to ten and knows 6 shapes...still learning the alphabet though. He's also very fascinated with anything with wheels on it. Oh and he has only six teeth...hoping the rest will come out soon:)

My daughter Cheyenne was born on May 25th and I am ready to sell her EBay... Just kidding :) She weighs 20 lbs and she is 31 inches long (I have a tall little one). She is a handful she loves running all over the house to see what she can get her hands on. She really loves to sit down and read a book. If she is not doing that, she is watching Dora or wonder pets. She is talking so much now, she just loves to imitate things so we have to definitely watch what we say. I said "Oh s#i@" in front of her one time and she repeated it LOL She is a fun girl and I love her to death, she is my one and only munchkin

Lucas was born May 5th, he weighs 27 lbs and is 33 inches long now, he is trying to read his ABC's now he counts to 3 lol, he sings the ABC's song and loves Yo Gabba Gabba, has a crush on Dora, and loves Diego. He eats just about everything I give him, he says thank you, please gimme, he hugs really tight, and gives you kisses and then tell you yummy, so cute. He loves the water, so soon we're going to get him started on swimming, cuz you just never know. We also are trying to get him started on the potty, he seats but after he gets up he pees all over the place. Now the not so good, He throws the best tamtrums that last a good 30 seconds to a minute., for anything he dislikes we do, if we put him on the crib, tantrum, if we deside to go home from the park, tantrum,he also hits his head on the floor or wall, which ever is closer at the time, thank goodness that does not last long.

saige was born may 26th she is now 21.5 lbs and 33in she has her own attitude and isnt scared of anything.she loves animals and we are working on potty training she is sleeping in a toddler bed at naptime still working on all night though she walks runs and tries to skip but trips almost every time she loves her babies and pretending to be mommy

Jayne was born 27th may 2008 she is now 2 st 3 oz she is runnin/walkin since she was 14 months she mad into dogs and babies. She is climbin everything, this morning she climbed out of her cot we were shocked. I have tried to potty train her but she cries every time i put hr on the potty so we are going to leave it for another while. She is a great little talker i understand most of the words but some i just agree with her as if i understand she is not afraid of anything or to try new things

My boy/girl twins are growing up in a bilingual environment and can say several words in Spanish (we live in Spain) and less in English but they understand both perfectly. They love climbing, running, screaming (ha ha!), and dancing plus they like to sing. The last time they were weighed 2 weeks ago, Hugo was 11.5kg (24lbs) and Isabella 10.6kg (22lbs) but they´ve gained weight since. Neither likes solid food and I´m going nuts with how to handle this! Hugo is having some major tantrums and refusing meals and I think he´s teething (molars). Isabella is the calmer one and she teeths with little fuss. They help each other but also fight!! They follow step-by-step instructions like "pick that up" give it to mummy", etc and have for a while. Isabella will ask for water in Spanish and both communicate to get what they want but with gestures. I haven´t tried potty training here yet and have decided to wait a little bit as we´re going through some tantrum & food issues at the moment. One thing at a time!! ;)

My son Aiden was born on May 5th, he weighs 27 1/2 lbs. im not sure how tall he is. he says soo much more than it seems like my daughter did at this age! he says hi, hello, bye bye, doggie, cat, duck, cow, moo, quack quack (it sounds like whack whack lol) love you, riah (my 5 yr old) zeus-ie (my dog is zeus, when he says it it sounds like zoo-see lol) daddy, mommy, ga-maw, pee-boo! (peek a boo) he tells me when he pooped too he says poo poo mommy, we are sitting him on the potty but he hasnt gone yet, he wakes up dry tho so i know we are close! and when he wants to nurse he says Nuh nuhs mommy and he says and signs please at the same time. he says "I want snack" (it sounds like i-uhhh NAAAK!) lol but we understand it. he is 19 months in 2 days and we are still nursing 7-8 times a day! i would like to cut it back but he has no desire to at all and throws a huge fit when i try to. lol. he just learned how to kick a ball too but half the time he steps on it instead and falls :) its cute

My guy is a big boy! 35.5 inches, 27 lbs, size 7.5 feet already! Yikes! I am running out of clothes people gave me at showers now. He eats just about everything. Obviously!

He is running, climbing, chasing, making up games with his father and I, "wrangling" us for pony rides, and generally getting more excersize in an hour than I do all day! He is also drawing on his easel with both markers (supervision required) and chalk, reading and re-reading any book he can get his hands on in a cute little babble language, leading us by the hand to show us what he wants or needs from us, begginning to laugh at things that are silly (farts!), and starting to indicate when he might need to be on the potty~ although usually a little too late yet. The Bjorn potties are best (IMO). He says or signs a limited number of words consistently, but is very expressive and communicative, so we are enjoying this phase while it lasts. If his babbling is any indication, when he learns to talk, we will never get a word in edgewise ;)

We are also starting to have mini-tantrums and boundary exploration, but we are trying to stay calm and be consistent in maintaining our expectations for him. Works most of the time. Unless mommy is very tired and then we both meltdown together. LOL.

Madelyn Jane was born on May 29th 2008. She is talking a ton. She now puts three words together such as: More cheese please. Too cute. She is running and is very independent. She loves to jump on the bed or in her crib. She has not tried to climb out of her crib yet, but I know some other 18 monthers who have. She takes 1 nap a day for about 2-3 hours and sleeps well at night, 7:00pm-7:00am. Maddie is 24 lbs. The only thing she is behind on is her hair growth, she barely has any hair. Any other 18 month olds with little hair? Maddie also loves to be outside and asks to go outside almost every hour. She watches 30 minutes of Signing Times a day and has learned so many new words and signs. We have not started potty training yet, but she does know where the potty is and can say, "Da-da go potty." Her latest trick is rearranging her sippy cups and bowls in the lower cupboard.

We have started potty training and he doesn't like the little potty so we bought a seat for the big potty and he loves it! We're doing good on it!

My son was born May 1st and I believe he's about 22 lb or somewhere around there. He's in a toddler bed because he's been climbing a lot! We have started drawing with him, but he doesn't have a lot of interest yet. He also has no fear (as Jessa said about her daughter). He's very smart, and can be quiet when he know's he shouldn't be doing something. He says a lot of words, however he doesn't say yes or no. He also loves to "drop" things and say "Oh, oh". He will also eat ANYTHING! If we are eating it, he want's exactly what we are eating. We made spicy guackamolie(sp) and he just loves it!

Once he can start to tell us he's ready to be potty trained then we will, but for now, he's just not telling us (although he show's all the other signs).

He also isn't sleeping the best, he refuses to take napes, and doesn't sleep that long during the day. He's generally happy, unless he has another tooth coming in.

My daughter Addison was born May 18th, 2008. She is 22.5lbs and 32 3/4 inches. She is an 18mo old going on 5 year old I swear. She climbs, she jumps, she dances, she sings. She talks up a storm! She has close to 150 words and parrots everything you say. She has started to enjoy coloring. She loves to pretend cook and loves her elmo "baby." She pushes him in strollers, feeds him with a spoon and gives elmo a drink from her cup. She is halfway potty trained. She can tell me when she has to go and we rush to the potty and she goes but we do have accidents. We have had two dry nights so far. Her pediatrician thought it was wonderful she was potty training, so Im not sure why they would say anything different. She just told us not to push her, punish her or get upset if she doesnt go or has accidents.

my little girl Ellie was born on may 13th 2008 and she is a bit of a nightmare, she is in to everything esp eating the dogs food and books or anything else she can get her hands on.
She loves walking and running and jumping all over her big sister Paige. She really loves watching In The Night Garden and Wonder pets and singing twinkle twinkle little star in her own great way.
She loves her food, (not like her sister), she eats anything we put in front of her apart from chips.
Her best thing to do is play chase with Paige and our dog Rosie all round the house which can get a bit much at times esp when im trying to tidy up!!!!
she hates going to bed and stands in her cot saying "I get out" over and over.

my son Gilmore is 18 months was born on May 16th, 2008, he's a handful and will climb anything and jump off anything literally when given the chance. He has just started riding his scooter, has started saying words now, can ask for water, juice, calls the dogs by name and can say when he wants to make a poo. He currently is able to make a poo using his floor standing potty which has handles for support and feels / looks like a real toilet (this might help) so he no longer poos in his diapers. He still refuses to eat rice or mince but loves macaroni and has started throwing tantrums during feeding time. He is not scared of any type of insects and loves the outdoors wd rather spend the day outdoors than indoors.

my son tyler was born May 5th 2008. he 25lbs 4oz and 32 in tall. He loves to watch yo gabba gabba and the backyardigans. Right now he loves to climb all over everything and take baths that last forever. He is pretty good walker and runner and is talking a little but not much. He hits his head alot. I mean all the time. I want to start potty training but the pedi said no.

my daugher Dakotta was born may9th 08, shes 10.5kilos (23lbs) She loves trying to run (walking very fast) with her bigger brother, she has a handful of words. she also has no fear lol. Shes a klutz like her mother (poor thing) and trips over nothing lol. We will be potty training her next year before baby #3 is born. She is a real explorer.
