My LO is 13 months old,He has had a paci since day 1,Now i think its time to throw the paci OUT but he doesnt think so,I have tried taking it away SO many times and he screams for it,so I give in and i gave it too him,How can I make this paci thing easy to get rid of..Thanks in advance.

My oldest took a paci all of the time. When she turned one we only let her have it at nap time and bed time. Keep him busy during the day with snacks, teethers, and games. We let her keep it at bed time till she was 2 and then we just put her to bed without it one night and she never asked for it again. Now my youngest does not want anything to do with a paci. I'm trying to get him to let go of the bottle...... my daughter gave up the bottle at 1 with no problems. Good Luck!!
