We are having my son's birthday at a local park. We are doing a sport themed bday with all of our family and friends. I am going to have balls of all sizes, colors, and effects laid out on the grass. I will also have a few bubble machines going over the balls so the little ones can play. I might have a very small ball pit or a small jumpy. I will then have finger foods so the little ones can serve and help themselves without parents having to worry. I will have sippy cups for the little ones with sugar free juice. We are going to do presents, cake and everything the parents want to see first so he doesn't get cranky and then we are going to let everyone relax and play. After that we will have a drawing and the winners get to pick a ball so I don't take a bunch home and one of the bubble machines. Should be fun.

wow! thanks for the respond...

When my baby was 100 days old, we bought her a birthday cake :-)

For her first birthday... I am planning a Luau-themed party. It just so happens that it will also be my parents' 30th (pearl) wedding anniversary. My sister will be home from out of the country and my dad will be 51 years and 1 day old. We have also bought a house, so we have the house blessing on the same day. I have my parents and sister to help me with the expenses :-)

So, I will be concentrating on preparing for the children party. I have listed games and bought a few toys for prizes. I have informed my guests (mostly cousins) to have their kids prepare for the costume.I am just so excited. I am not sure what else to prepare..

Daddy and I are hosting a BBQ at a local beach park with hot dogs, sides and soda and beer for the adults. I am doing purple and pink with some added colors to match the plates and balloons. I also got juicy juicy and fruit cups for the kids. I made each baby, little kid and big kid a favors bag personalized, stickered bag (with their name on it) by gender and age. babies has teething cookie, rubber duck, plastic toy, baby food and spoon. others have some variation of: top, push train, candy, toy in egg, jewelry, small ball, stickers and they all have a small beach rake/scoop 4 piece set. We are ordering a big cake with a beach photo on it to go with our setting. I am taking a crawl tube and we'll be near the playground. I am also going to take and decorate the high chair. This party is just for friends and their children. Our family will host a Pooh party the following weekend on her actual b-day. I have already gathered most of the supplies and non-perishable goods. I just have a few things left on my list! Whew! Oh, and I reserved a spot that has three picnic tables so we don't have to scrounge for tables and they can all be decorated + balloons.

Mine will be a simple tea party, with an even number of relatives and mummy friends. Nothing fancy lest my lil one gets grumpy:). What about yourself? Anything planned yet?
